Worst experience in Hvar

I don't usually write bad reviews, but I don't want other vegans to go there and be disappointed.
We went there because the description here on happycow (soy protein in umami broth and yuba leather etc. sounded very interesting and we want to try. They don't have it though. They have one vegan main - chickpea steak, which is not a steak but a fried patty and not that different from vegan patties we can buy in our supermarkets back home. The triple baked potatoes were a fancy term for "fries/chips". Don't get me wrong. The food was tasty, but for this price I would have expected something more elaborate. The service was not knowledgeable at all about what "vegan" means and in general not as friendly and professional as at other places in Hvar (e.g. Dalmatino etc.). I was still eating the starter (bread in hand) when the waiter came to take away the plates. They came to check up on other guests, but they kept interaction with us to a minimum (maybe because the vegan food or lack of alcoholic drinks was to cheap for them). They also never asked if everything is alright or how the food is/was.
Very disappointing experience, especially for such a nice place like Hvar, which is known for its great hospitability.

Pros: Tasty

Cons: Too expensive for what it is, Not many vegan options, Not very professional waiters
