Had the vegan pad thai which was delicious but the prices are hefty. The staff was pretty nice though. Would recommend if you ever make it to Hvar.

Great food - Edit
I believe there are 3 vegan options. I Had Pad Thai. I explicitly asked if there was no fish sauce in it. The waitress was aware of what vegan means and assured me that there was none in it so I enjoyed my dinner. I even forgot to take a photo🙈

Vegan options misleading- given nasi goreng with chicken - Edit
The staff agreed that they could do vegan nasi goreng (with tofu, and without oyster sauce, fish sauce, egg, chicken). When it arrived there was 2 pieces of tofu, and very clearly a few pieces of chicken. Another guest with us ordered the standard nasi goreng and it very clearly was made the same and they had removed some chicken rather than making fresh. Only noticed after beginning the meal as guidance was very clear. When it was pointed out to the staff they said that there was no chicken in it. Then they were going to remake it but felt unwell to eat. Explained this and the waitress was very rude and defensive and said we had to have and pay for it as we ordered. She went to speak to the manager who agreed to remove it. Very bad service and would not trust for any food requirements, clearly uncaring.

Lots of Vegan Options - Edit
Cool restaurant, Spice asian restaurant and italian/local cusine Hannibal restaurant attached together where you can order off either menu. Both have vegetarian sections of their menu with multiple being vegan too. Got tofu pad thai which was naturally vegan and very delicious! Veggie gyoza was vegan too and very yummy. Would recommend!

Really good vegan options - Edit
This is actually two restaurants sharing a kitchen so you can choose between the menu of Spice (Asian) or Hanibal (Italian). We had the veg pad Thai with spring rolls. They were able to make sure it was made vegan for us (so no fish sauce) and it was incredibly tasty. I could have eaten another bowl if I wasn’t so full! The staff were really friendly and understood what we meant by vegan, asking specifically when we ordered from the vegetarian menu (both menus had vegetarian sections) whether we wanted our food vegan or were happy with fish sauce. A lovely spot to eat near the port but out of the main bustle of the street.

Happy to cater for the V-gang. - Edit
Very catered for vegans. Although not a vegan restaurant they are very used to us v-gang and happy to make a lot of things vegan. Also, with my partner being gluten free, they were also happy to make things gf too, even if off-menu.

More vegan options - Edit
At Spice they have a number of vegan options including spring rolls, pasta and two vegan curries. I took one of the curries. Unfortunately, there was little taste. The vegetables and tofu were nice. The spring rolls on the other hand were very tasty!

Veg-Asia - Edit

It was alright - Edit
We were happy to find that there was a separate vegetarian menu even though there was some starter with chicken and shrimp on it.
Read moreWe both had the vegan pad Thai and the spring rolls.
In retrospect I’m not really sure if the spring rolls were vegan. I’ve mistaken them for summer rolls which is my bad, so you might have to ask.
We didn’t really like the pad Thai that much. Something tasted kinda off and the tofu was not really flavorful. The prices were alright though and we weren’t hungry anymore!
Pros: Alright prices , Friendly staff
Cons: Something tasted off , Non vegetarian items on vegetarian menu

Good! - Edit
Tofu pad Thai was very good, red curry was what you would expect- not special but good. We asked for more rice with the curry for free and got it. Location is very nice in the main square but seems understaffed and no working wifi. If you’re looking for Asian food, this is a great option. If you want tap water, make sure you specify so you don’t end up with an expensive bottle of Jamnica!

Great Thai food - Edit
Great Tofu Pad Thai - up there with some of the best I’ve ever had, including in Thailand. Lots of vegan-friendly veg curries to choose from too, but just the one starter I think (veg spring rolls) and no dessert. Service wasn’t bad on the whole, though we did have to ask twice for our drinks so not great...

We had the green curry with tofu and tofu pad thai. Average food. Could maybe consider going back for the food, but the service was too bad (staff seemed idle and unavailable in a half full restaurants, borderline rude), so it’s less than tempting.

Decent food but limited vegan options - Edit
Despite having the word 'vegetarian' on the front page of the menu, we were told there were only 3 things that could be made vegan/vegetarian and that all the Thai curries had shrimp paste in them, unlike what previous reviews mentioned. We had a pad Thai, nasi goreng and gado gado salad. The noodles and rice had a pretty good flavor to them and were a decent portion size too.

Nice asian food in a stunning place - Edit
I love asian food and this restaurant was not disappointing, quite the opposite. We ordered a curry and a pad thai, both with vegetables and tofu, and it was delicious (could be a bit more spicy). The service was impeccable, people were very friendly and even offered us some blankets because the wind was a bit cold.

Excellent service, very good food - Edit
Our waiter was super service oriented and made sure we were happy all the way. I asked if I could have tofu in my green curry the answer was “You can get as much tofu in any dish you want” and then he asked if I was vegan and offered me yellow curry because in other curry’s they use fish sauce. The portions were huge and we left happily with our food babies ;)
