Ran by Jan and Daz, the aim is to gradually transition to a holistic B&B. In the meanwhile guests are served traditional Scottish fare but vegans can be catered for with advance notice. One of the owners is alkaline nutritionist and homoeopath.

Nourishment from the inside out

We stayed at Garragh Mhor B&B for one weekend night with breakfast in March 2019. Immediately on arrival our welcome was warm. The room was tastefully decorated, cosy and warm. Just what we needed after a day on Easdale Island, swimming in the freezing quarry pool!

Jan and Daz catered for our every need, from providing a lantern so we could cook a foraged feast in their garden, to helping us heat it in their kitchen when the rain put paid to our plans! The breakfast they offered was imaginative, healthy and delicious (it was quite difficult to choose between the coconut chia vegan pancakes and the egg-free shakshuka!) I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be coming back.

Pros: Warm welcome, Great location, Delicious vegetarian food with lots of Ve options

Cons: It rained!
