Great and healthy food

The food was great. Kaho soi was delicious especially. We didn’t like the cheesecake. The staff were friendly. I recommend to go when its dark, as the atmosphere there is really nice and its less hot.

Lovely food in a relaxed setting

Opted for Pai curry, which tasted very similar to a regular Thai curry. Nice flavour, lots of thin rice noodles, would have preferred more vegetables (only served with bean sprouts and green beans). Overall quite satisfied. Also good range of cookies and desserts available.
Next day went back for scrambled tofu bagel. Tofu really good, cashew cream cheese was quite tangy (too much lemon), bagel was dry (more like a bread roll than a bagel). Note it can take a long time (40 minutes+) to get your meal, even when the place is only half full.

Cute little restaurant with affordable food

Food is presented nicely and they have a range of different options to choose from. We ordered a coconut curry and a Khao soi. I’ve had better Khao soi before but it was still full of flavour and nice and spicy. The curry was great!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Affordable, Restaurant is very cozy

All round winner

Lovely staff. Amazing food we had the Khao Soi which was very good and soon becoming my favourite thai dish. There are more western parts of the menu as well. We took some vegan cookies home with us which were a great little late night snack.

Delicious

It’s a nice vibe in the cafe. Fresh, eco and organic menu. I ordered the BBQ tempeh burger which was incredible! My partner had the Middle Eastern salad which he enjoyed. They offer juices/smoothies/breakfasts/burgers/salad/snacks/desserts.

I came across this place last night and it was supposed to be closed but they agreed to make me some food for takeaway - I ordered 2x falafel pitta pockets which were insane! So fresh and lots of flavours. Falafels on point 👌🏾 the owner said there is a new menu coming soon- will definitely be returning! #Veganuary

Sweet baby Jesus🤤

Tempeh tikka masala and “chicken” burger is to die for. Coffee is on point and they even have cute dogs. Lovely staff too, this is my personal favourite place to eat in Pai as a vegan.

Pros: Innovative dish ideas , Good location , Dogs!🐶🐕🦮

Nice food but overpriced and portion too small

Friendly owner, extensive menu. But I find the portions too small for the price. Also the taste of the food is so-so, not very special (hence overpriced).

But the cafe has a lovely vibe and is clean.

Pros: You'll find all kinds of food on the menu

Tasty food

Very tasty food at very reasonable prices. My husband had the gado gado and I had the Khao Soi (with tempeh as an added extra). Best Khao Soy I've ever had, my only complaint is that there were lots of noodles and not enough veggies.

Pros: Mostly vegan, Great taste, Friendly service

Cons: Not enough veggies in curry

Delicious vegan cakes, burgers, Thai food

Fantastic vegetarian cafe, we had a caramel cheesecake, some cookies and ginger tea for a mid afternoon snack and that was beautiful and delicious.

We returned the same evening for dinner which was meze platter, chicken burger and khao soi. They were all amazing! Great food and very good prices. The owner was very friendly and the place is a nice place to hang out

Pros: Excellent food, Excellent choice, Lovely cakes

Great food and friendly owner

I can recommend the Khao Soi and Buddha Bowl. The vegan cookies are also very nice. The owner is currently experimenting with vegan cheese.

Pros: Healthy and tasty food, Friendly and generous owner, Location

Cons: Some dishes could maybe be better value for money

Lovley restaurant

We visited here 2 days in a row for breakfast. The vegan pancakes were lovely although I could've done with a bit more maple syrup. The following day I and the smoothie bowl which was lovley but a bit sickly towards the end. The woman here was so lovley and let us in early after we arrived 15 minutes before they opened. I'd also recommend the vegan cornflake cookie. It was a shame we were only here for a couple of days because I wanted to try more things on the menu.

Pros: Lovley owner, Good vegan sweet options , Lots of vegan options

nice place and staff

I tried the tofu scramble. I asked for a side of the cashew cream cheese because I was curious to try it. They agreed, but then instead of bread with the tofu scramble as per the menu they gave me a bagel. No big deal, the bagel was nice, but the cashew cheese was oddly sweet, nothing at all like cashew cheeses that I've tried in other countries. Oh and the salad that comes with the tofu scramble was dry, as in no dressing, but still good to have some raw leafy greens.

Cons: not fully vegan

Nice scrambled tofu

The food was good, but I thought the portions could be a bit bigger.
Smoothie was great, we didn't really like the coffee though.

Pros: Alles vegan

Rather good

We ordered the Buddha salad bowl, which was quite good for 120B. But we ordered the two pocket pitas for 70B cause we're on a budget and the portion was small, it was too dry, no sauce. Could have done it ourselves at home.
We think it's a good place but not if you're backpackers like us with small budget.

Pros: Small portions

Mmmm

Good food! Not vegan only vegetarian place, which needs to be corrected. I had the zucchini pasta which, whilst not the most filling of meals, was full of flavour and surprisingly delicious. Good menu with lots of variety and moderately priced

Good food, excellent cake

I tried the following dishes:

- tofu scramble: smells eggy, nice texture, seasoning could be better (a bit bland and could do with some more veg)
- middle Eastern salad: falafel balls in there were really good, but the rest of the salad was bland
- bagel with cashew cream cheese: fantastic cheese substitute (tastes like caramelised onion hummus)
- butter cream and chocolate cake: possibly the best vegan cake I've ever had. Very 3-dimensional in terms of flavour and texture. 10/10.

Pros: Fair prices unlike other western cafes/restaurants

Cons: Food could be a bit more flavourful

Pros: Gesund

Cons: Unflexibel, teuer

Amazing spiced pleasure in the heart ❤️ of Pai

Granita Cafe is what two hungry Vegans we’re looking for.

I have been Vegan for 32 years so I am pretty picky about the restaurants I want to try. I expect excellence.

Thanks to previous reviews we headed straight to here for Lunch. We were not disappointed. We were 😁 thrilled with the quality and spicing of the Food.

My friend had the Coconut 🥥 Curry and he does not like spicy hot food. Still the spicing on the dish was excellent. I tried his and though mild it was flavourful.

I had the Indian curry and the Indonesian Gado Gado. Both dishes were excellent and the service was awesome.. we are coming back for dinner for sure.

Fantastic place

Really wonderful restaurant with decent sized portions and absolutely delicious smoothies! I also tried the raw brownie and it was quite possibly the best one I've ever tasted. The owner is really nice as well, all in all a very great place that I would return to regularly if I lived in Pai

Pros: Big portions, very healthy, delicious
