It’s an option at a main attraction - Edit
It’s nice to have a quick option at a main attraction like the Niagara Falls. It’s not super fresh, texture of veggies suffers and sauces taste average. But even lacking flavor it’s still an option that let it you choose your proteins. I got quinoa, black beans, tofu, beats, sweet potatoe and avocado and was happy to just have all that in one meal. If you find better options don’t come here. But it’s way better than ‚just impossible burger & fries‘ 🍟

Fine in a pinch - Edit
Everything is fully customizable, which is good, but the quality is just OK. Kid who got a teriyaki noodle bowl had to pour out the sauce, because there was just too much and it was too salty.

Convenient to the Falls - Edit
I had the Buddha Satay and it was decent. There were not a lot of obvious options for dining and we landed here. I wouldn’t seek it out among all the great options in Toronto, but it filled us up for a day trip to Niagara. We ordered a salad without cheese and it came with cheese so buyer beware.

Make your own bowls - Edit
You can customize all the bowls and burritos. Tofu available. I had the Buddha Satay bowl. Could’ve used more peanut sauce but it was a large bowl and still tasty. Yummy smoothies too!

Whole Food Plant Based in Niagara Falls - Edit
Freshii was an oasis in the midst of gross fried food places. It's indoors attached to the Sheraton hotel. Many items were vegan or vegan-option on the menu-- it was hard to choose! We ordered at the counter and our delicious bowls were freshly assembled within minutes. There is shared seating with other entities; I ordered a chai tea latte at Starbucks which is adjacent to the Freshii counter.

Freshii is your friend - Edit
Wouldn't it be nice to have a friend you can trust when you travel to a destination far away? When it comes to vegan food, Freshii is that friend in Canada. They have eateries all over Canada, even in Niagara Falls.
Read moreAnd in Niagara Falls Freshii won't just be your friend, they'll be your best and only friend. The streets of the centre of Niagara Falls are lined with restaurants, but they serve steak, BBQ, pizza and other "comfort" food. Some do have vegan options, but "vegan mac'n'cheeze" isn't exactly what I'd call dinner. Several Indian and Chinese restaurants do have vegan options, but when I entered and browsed their menu's I quickly went back to Freshii. I want food, not fat.
So during my in Niagara stay I had breakfast, lunch and dinner at Freshii. While not the most festive dinner in town, it is vegan and healthy. Because I visited them so much, the staff even offered to make some of the vegetarian dishes vegan for me (simply change the sauce).
I personally didn't like the sauce of the Terriyaki Twist (vegetable content is great). Did love the sauce of the Buddha's Satay. The improvised vegan version of the Oaxaca was my favourite, but that was mainly thanks to the improvisation talents of the chef. The green smoothie is very bland is hard to drink because there's no sweetness at all. The berry smoothie is the easiest on the taste buds.
A final word: yes, Freshii is expensive (22 cdn for a salad bowl!). But you do get actual fresh vegetables (not cooked or fried to a pulp like the other restaurants will do) and big portions. And well, they were my (temporary) friends, so why nag about money?
Pros: the only healthy option in Niagara Falls, generous portions
Cons: expensive

Quick, Convenient, Delicious - Edit
Freshii was a lifesaver on my trip to Niagara Falls. I stayed in the Sheraton on the Falls and Freshii was inside the hotel just downstairs. I ordered a smoothie and a grain bowl and was very happy with both. I like that the bowls are customizable because it's easy to create your own nutritious vegan meal.

An oasis for plantbased food in Niagara Falls - Edit
We walked all over Niagara Falls looking for a plant based place to eat and found none with some pretty rude don’t care responses. Then we found this place - are there twice in 24 hours

Yum and healthy - Edit
Everything is overpriced in Niagara but at least this is fresh, healthy and super yummy. After a Beyond Burger at Hard Rock Cafe last night this was a welcome refreshing meal.

Completely decent - Edit
Honestly the best lunch you’ll find at Niagara unless you want to spend a lot of money in a tourist trap. Decent salads and bowls, with good vegan options.

Decent vegan options convenient location - Edit
We visited here several times during our trip to Niagara Falls. It is located below the Sheraton Hotel next to Starbucks. Sadly there weren't many vegan options around.
Read moreService was generally friendly and quick. There wasn't a line either time we visited however we did visit in November.
We looked at the menu online prior to visiting. The price was a bit high for the type of food so we only got one bowl for 2 people as we were trying to save money. The price isn't that high for the area. It satiated both of us until we got home. We got a large water from Starbucks for $1.
We recommend sitting on the side opposite of Starbucks near the bar bc it has the nicest seating area.
$14 CAN: Buddha Bowl: okay flavor, pretty generic teriyaki bowl with rice, veggies and wonton strips. Tofu is $2 extra, we opted not to add tofu.
$14 CAN: Satay Bowl: rice noodle bowl with veggies, wonton strips and warm peanut sauce. We didn't find the peanut sauce too spicy. If you are concerned they will offer a sample to taste test the spicy peanut sauce. We got extra sauce and preferred this to the teriyaki bowl. It would have been better with edamame added. Tofu was $2 extra so we didn't add it.
Sweet Jesus Ice Cream: $5 across the gift shop and offers vegan ice cream. We had their mango vegan ice cream at another location. It was okay. I believe they have strawberry in the summer which we would like to try.
**PARKING: Parking is very expensive it was regularly $20 when we were there. If you are willing to walk, you can find free parking at Dufferin Park. It added 10-15min walking from where we paid $20 for parking the day before. We found it to be worth it to walk farther given the money we saved. We also read that sometimes Hotels won't charge for parking. We opted not to do this for fear we'd be towed.
Pros: Several vegan options , Convenient location , Quick service
Cons: Expensive for the type of food, Generic offerings, Distance from parking is far
