Delicious - Edit
I was pleasantly surprised by Beavertails' vegan version. The dough was delicious—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside—with a texture that still captured the essence of the classic treat. The experience was quick and enjoyable, and I felt satisfied both with the taste and the inclusive option. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Yummy Treat! - Edit
A yummy dessert option! The beaver tails have serious carnival food vibes, in the best way possible! They were nothing mind blowing, but just overall a nice little treat. I really like that they have both sweet and savory options that can be made vegan. I would stop again if I was in the area and craving something sweet!

Run, don’t walk!! - Edit
Stop it right now. I’m gonna do my best to paint you a picture, think of a doughnut that is in the shape of a rectangle with round fluffy edges and in the middle is filled with apple pie filling or simply cinnamon and sugar. There’s crunch there’s puff and there’s a whole lot of deep-fried goodness. This is not a repeat not your healthy option for the day.

Clearly labeled, super sweet - Edit
Multiple vegan-isable options, including poutine as well as beaver tail toppings. I had an apple pie one which was generously heaped with apple and syrup, and (unsurprisingly) super sweet! Nice to have more than one option, clearly labelled.

Unique pastry, a must try - Edit
Bevertails is a restaurant chain that specializes in pastries known as BeaverTails. There were 4 vegan options available, and they were clearly marked on the menu. I chose "Vegan Apple Pie" and it was delicious and steaming hot when I got it. Keep in mind that there are no tables or chairs in the store/cafe.

Fun and unique snack/dessert! - Edit
I came here because I saw the entry on happycow and this is a great snack or dessert in Clifton Hill! The base "tail" is vegan and the menu says which ones can be veganized (3 tails can be veganized iirc). I had a tail with apple and cinnamon and it was a real treat.

Fun option in Clifton Hills - Edit
My husband and I came here on a recent trip to Niagara Falls. It’s in a fun section of the town called Clifton Hills. We were here in the off-season so it was not as crowded as I imagine it could be. We split the Coco Vanil Beavertail and it was very tasty. Vegan items clearly labeled on menu.

Great treat! - Edit
I honestly didn't approach the Beavertails stand optimistically because I figured a delicious pastry would contain some kind of eggs or butter, but I was pleasantly surprised! The woman working there was so nice and she informed me that the plain Beavertails are vegan as is, and she even took out the allergen booklet to show me exactly which sauces I could add on. I was able to add some kind of chocolate cookie crumble and powdered sugar glaze. I can't rave enough about how good this dessert was! I'll be on the lookout for Beavertails whenever I'm in Canada from now on.

Good vegan options - Edit
BeaverTails offers several options that can be made in a vegan version. You have to say that you want it vegan when you order. It's not cheap, but something delicious that I have never eaten bevor.
