Unpleasant part of town - Edit
This part of NYC is particularly unpleasant: a lot of traffic, gritty, few stores, etc. There are a bunch of hotels here, to be sure: however, my suggestion would be that if you spent money for a hotel, at very least walk a few blocks to get to a more pleasant part of town (such as Hudson Yards, a bit to the south) where things are more pleasant and you'll have more food choices.
Read moreOn the other hand, if for some reason you are stuck here, Fresh&co. is a nice find, since there is not much else in the immediate area. Fresh&co. offers healthy fare, and it is well run chain. The other branches of Fresh&co. do have more vegan choices than this one, but this branch does have at least some things that are vegan and healthy. There is some seating inside, as well as outdoor seating.
Pros: Healthy food if you are stuck in this part of town
