Fantastic Meal at Free Food

The hubs and I went here today and we were both very impressed! It's a small place with one large communal table that could comfortably fit about 12 people. If you want a description of the ingredients in the meals, I would suggest checking out their online menu. I had the flapjacks which are served with chia jam and a date and nut chocolate spread. They were excellent and the nuttiness of the quinoa flour in the flapjacks really comes through. The hubs had the chickpea burger served with potato wedges, which was also excellent! We finished off the meal with a slice of the chocolate cake. It was creamy and chocolatey without being too sweet or rich. If you happen to make it to Free Food make sure you try the chai tea! Yum!

Pros: offers vegan cheeses and readymade meals, Open for breakfast, Simply delicious food

Cons: intimate small seating area, Hard to find

Wonderful little haven

I was so impressed with the menu- lots of choices and very creative. The quality of the food was fantastic- probably because owner and chef helps prepare and serve it. Most impressed that besides being vegan, the food is wheat, gluten and sugar free! Everything made by them including pizza bases, pesto, hummus and chai.

Had a delicious burger, banana cake and the best almond milk chai I've ever had!
All food made with love. Go and support them and feel yummy in your tummy!

Pros: Imaginative food, Wheat, gluten, soy, sugar free, Made with love! Takeaway deli items

Cons: Group seating on 1 table

Free Food-a-licious

This little restaurant is a happy, friendly place to jump into for a quick lunch or an early dinner. The chai tea is lovely, the stews are delicious and the company is charming. Buy one of everything in the fridges before you go. Fridge stocked full of deliciousness guarunteed!

Pros: hearty food, fabulous deli options

Cons: Corlett Drive
