Wide Selection of Veg Options

I am a person who enjoys finding vegan options at grocery stores, so I figured I would stop by Frazier’s to look at the selection. Like any grocery store, lots of vegan products are among other items; however, this store has a decent section of vegan cheese, butter, milk, ice cream, frozen meals, and meat alternatives (both frozen and fridge). The most impressive part to me was the deli and bakery, which labels vegan options. You can find vegan pizza, sandwiches, ice cream (not all sorbet based either!), cookies, cakes, breads, salads, entrees, etc. I wouldn't drive out of my way here, but if you are nearby, this is an excellent vegan-friendly store!

My favorite grocery stop

One day when I was feeling adventurous, I stumbled on Frazier Farms. I always saw it but never went inside. I was immediately excited. I was greeted by the “lifestyle” table. Full of vegan treats like muffins, cornbread and cookies ! There are so many healthy vegan options in the grocery store. There is also a huge salad bar . Occasionally there is vegan soup which is clearly labeled. The precooked food section also has vegan options (again clearly labeled . Along with the ingredients.) there is always at least one vegan ice cream flavor . Many dairy substitutes for the coffee shop area . Vegan sandwich options . Vegan pizza options . Vegan sushi options . And they also make vegan cakes in the bakery !!! Definitely take a visit if you haven’t already it is a must go.

Hidden Gem!

This place is so close to where I do my weekly grocery shopping that I now go here every week! This place is AMAZING. There are so many vegan and allergen friendly items here for comparable or cheaper cost than other stores. They also have a rotating deli/fresh food section that often has a vegan option as well!

Pros: Many vegan and allergen options

Cons: Sometimes more expensive (but sometimes cheaper)

If you haven't been here you need to go!!

It's like Whole Foods but cheaper. There are so many vegan options...I go here at least 3 times a week and always get my coffee and chocolate croissant in the morning. I love this place so much!

Pros: A crap load of vegan options

Cons: I wish the deli had more vegan options.

Vegan bounty-of certain things

In contrast to Sprouts, Trader Joe’s, Ralph’s, and Albertsons in East County, San Diego, Frazier Farms carries an enormous variety of vegan baked goods, fake meat, fake cheese and alternative milk options. It was heavenly, to be honest. My family and I were overwhelmed by all there was to choose from, including bulk foods and the superfoods/ supplements. There are some downsides, however. Prices are more expensive overall. The organic produce is nothing to rave about; the selection is limited. Vegan options in the frozen and ready-made refrigerated sections are small as well. I live over a mile away from this place, so I would come here every now and then for something special but not for my routine grocery shopping.

Pros: Wide variety of vegan options , Relatively large selection of vegan baked goods

Cons: Expensive , Limited vegan frozen food and veggies
