A plant based paradise : Forest Kitchen - Edit
Forest Kitchen is more than just a vegan restaurant; it's a destination for a truly elevated dining experience. From the moment you step in, you're immersed in a world of plant-based delights, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor.
Read moreThe bread, a sourdough-like marvel, paired with a garlicky spread, sets the stage for the culinary journey ahead. The Hummus Salad is a visual masterpiece, a colorful garden of crispy chickpeas, roasted asparagus, vibrant green hummus, and a sprinkle of fragrant pistachios.
The Ratatouille Risotto is a spicy, tangy delight, with perfectly grilled vegetables and a hint of heat. The Seasonal Pudding, a refreshing dessert made with seasonal fruits like oranges and litchi, is a lovely way to end the meal.
While the food is undoubtedly the star of the show, the presentation and ambiance at Forest Kitchen are equally impressive. It's a place where vegan cuisine is celebrated, and every dish is a work of art. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience that's both delicious and sustainable, Forest Kitchen is the place to be.

Just brilliant - Edit
We were first taken aback by the limited menu, BUT, the food was brilliant. We had salad, two types of pasta and the roasted vegetables. All were great. Also the Kombucha was perfect.

no fine dining anymore - Edit
was super excited to be able to eat here, we got there and they told us the concept changed 2 days ago and they no longer offer the fine dining/tasting menu anymore. they now just offer sandwiches, pastas & salads. also all the main dishes & 2 dessert options werent able to order for this night. we couldn’t find this info anywhere online because otherwise we wouldn’t have traveled all the way to the restaurant to just eat this kind of food….. we left and didn’t try anything, i’m sure the flavours would still be good but we were exited to eat like 10 little courses, not a plate of pasta. so be aware!!!

Fine dining - An experience you won’t forget! - Edit
Wow! I can’t stop thinking about Forest Kitchen! My partner and I made a reservation for their 12 course meal. Everything that we had was mind blowing, from the presentation to the taste! I loved how the staff explained every dish to us and changed out our utensils between each course. We had a lot of fun taking videos and pictures of the food to share it with our friends, to show them that vegan food can be fun and delicious at the same time. My recommendation is to come hungry! We were full by the 6th our 7th course!😄

Amazing fine dining experience - Edit
This is one of my most favorite fine dining experiences so far in Seoul. The food was extremely delicious and great presentation as well. I will definitely be going here for all my special occasions as they have a great fine dining experience for not too much money and their menu is seasonal. The server explained all the dishes in English as it was much easier to understand. They have a large selection of drinks as well which is not included in the dining experience. The only drinks included are tea and coffee.

A foresty feast of flavours - Edit
Forest Kitchen has firmly established itself as one of my top vegan tasting menu experiences worldwide, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a creative and delicious plant-based meal.
Read moreTheir seasonally changing menu is an absolute steal for the quality and presentation of the food. Do not miss it. It is not often that you find an experience of this quality at this price (now 90k won). The menu consists of 11 courses, each inspired by a different aspect of the forest, such as soil, leaves, flowers, mushrooms, fruits, and nuts. Each dish is a work of art, beautifully adorned with edible flowers, herbs, and intricate sauces that enhance both the flavor and aesthetic appeal.
Service at Forest Kitchen is impeccable. Dishes are served in a timely manner by a team of attentive and personable staff, who are eager to share detailed descriptions of each course. The dining experience is further enriched by the restaurant’s inviting ambiance and interior design, which also boasts panoramic views of the cityscape.
My sole critique concerns their mandatory drink policy, which leans heavily towards alcoholic options. While the wine and champagne list is diverse and reasonably priced, the options for non-alcoholic beverages fall short. A more varied selection, including premium teas, would be greatly appreciated. Currently, the non-alcoholic choices are limited to alcohol-free wine and standard soft drinks, which is somewhat disappointing. Unlimited water, both still and sparkling, is included in the set menu.
Please note that dining at Forest Kitchen requires a prior reservation, as they do not accommodate walk-ins.

Sounds lovely, can't wait to go when I'm in Seoul I'm September! To clarify - I don't drink alcohol - are you saying you have to order alcohol with your meal? Could I order bottled water?

Fantastic fine dining in Seoul - Edit
This place provided us with an amazing experience! It is located within the Lotte mall on the highest floor of the shopping center with great views over the area. One of the few vegan fine dining options in whole of Seoul. The food was very thoughtful presented, with lots of different flavors perfectly complimenting each other. The staff was very warm and welcoming.

Outstanding - Edit
This was a real highlight of my trip. There is no vegan fine dining in my home city so I really appreciated the concept of Forest Kitchen - each dish was a celebration of plants. The service was exceptional.

Something like this hasn't happened to me yet. I reserved one week in advance, everything was confirmed, I travelled 1 hour just to get here and then they didn't let me in because "something went wrong in the reservation"!

They didn't let us in - Edit
The place looked nice. We were at the Lotte Mall and looking for something vegan to eat. We went in and we were stopped. They told us that we need a previous reservation to eat there. There was plenty of space in the restaurant.

Great for non-vegans too! - Edit
My non-vegan parents were blown away and able to enjoy the complex, flavorful and cohesive progression of courses just as much as I was! The head chef came out for each course to explain in English for us, which we so appreciated and enjoyed because we were able to hear about his inspirations and ask questions. Such an enjoyable experience at an amazing value for this level of fine dining! Very glad that it wasn’t just pretty presentation and disappointing food like many other more expensive course meals, and would highly recommend to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or treat family or friends whether they’re vegan or not!

Vegan, affordable fine dining. - Edit
Lunch with 8 courses for 55k KRW and dinner with 11 courses for 77k KRW. Beverages extra, still water is included. We were there for dinner and liked it a lot. Of course you shouldn't come too hungry, but 11 dishes in total was just filling enough. The food was interesting and I would say a modern interpretation of Korean food by bringing in Mediterranean elements. The open kitchen concept serves little purpose, as you can't really see how they prepare the dishes, but it also isn't harmful for the atmosphere, which was nice and quite causal. Friendly staff, little waiting time inbetween courses. Not too expensive for what you get.

Finally fine dining - Edit
Forest Kitchen distinguishes itself from other vegan restaurants by its professional service, elegant atmosphere and multi-course menu with modern cuisine.
Read moreThe lunch menu costs 55.000 KRW, while the dinner menu costs 77.000 KRW per person. Water is provided, any other beverages can be ordered separately. Reservations are required.
Multiple tiny dishes, which feature many Korean ingredients but also uncommon foreign ingredients such as fresh truffle and white asparagus, are served one by one. Overall, dining here can take about 2 hours!
For me, it was a very pleasant experience. Each dish was creatively and colorfully composed, flavors were refined.
I visited during the period they offered a limited edition menu in collaboration with the Belgian fine dine restaurant Humus Hortense. I'd definitively come back to celebrate a special occasion or treat someone to something special.
The restaurant is located inside the Lotte World Mall, above Jamsil Station. It is located on the 6th floor. The modern interior is colored mostly green and turqouise. The vibe is calm and chic, yet not cold.
Pros: good food, good service, chic atmosphere

Amazing fine dining experience - Edit
Loved my dinner here, every dish was full of flavor and unique. And absolutely beautiful to look at!
Read moreThe food is more western with a few Korean touches, such as the minari used in one dish.
It’s a 10plus course dinner, so bring some time and enjoy!
The wine pairing is not a course-by-course pairing and there was no explanation of the wines, but the food is the shining star here anyways!
Pros: Very creative and tasty , Affordable (compared to other major cities)
Cons: The wine pairing

Not bad, not a big fan - Edit
I dont like fine dining but friend wanted to try. Interiors very pretty but random spot i think? Food is alright. Vinegary. Pretty, and overall good but on the salty side. The mock meat dishes werent good. And everything felt more like decorations than food. Not my style.
