Serves meat, vegan options available. Remote Greek restaurant by the beach operating from May-Nov. Owner is vegetarian and vegan aware. Menu has many veg options including salads, hummus, falafel, grilled peppers and quinoa. Can make some dishes vegan on request. Directions: Follow the signs for Fokos from Ano Mera. Keep the wind turbine on your right. The road winds through farmlands, past the dam down onto the beach. NOTE: Reported October 2024 to have limited vegan options – please send updates to HappyCow.

Tasty vegan options - Edit
Finally a place that has clearly labelled vegan options on a menu! Very nice setting and great for lunch after swimming. Options are fairly limited but they were nice. When we enquired if any non vegan options could be made vegan they said no, however when we asked if we could have Greek salad without feta they said yes. So some misunderstandings potentially with vegan food/menu. Unfortunately we got served coffees with cows milk instead of plant milk which did ruin our experience a little. Plus we did also find a hair in a salad which I understand does happen sometimes. We also had to tell the staff to refill their dogs water bowl as it was empty. Cash is preferred method but they also accept card.

Nice but limited for vegans. - Edit
The tabouleh was unreal, definitely recommend. The hummus was also lovely, comes with flat bread. The options are very limited it is only starters they don’t really have vegan mains, other than the Fokos salad, which is nice if you like figs and beetroot, however does contain honey in the dressing. Staff are lovely and helpful with the vegan options.

Healthy options - Edit
The restaurant has only a few, but clearly marked vegan options. It is all freshly prepared food. I chose a combo of three apetizer, which was good. The restaurant / tavern is right at the beach, nice traditional place.

Hidden gem by the water - Edit
Found this thanks to Happy Cow as you can only reach it by car. Great location, simple and traditional taverna with good food and water views. We had a mix of starters, an amazing special salad and falafels (which weren’t on the menu but we were told about them by the owner).

Excellent - Edit
I got the Fokos salad, which is vegan. It was delicious. It was so fresh, colorful and flavorful. It was the best salad I had while I was in Mykonos. Plus the setting on the beach is absolutely stunning and the service is great. Highly recommend!

I would definitely recommend this beautiful spot set next to the beach with goat wondering past. I was treated so lovely and shown the kitchen and explained all the vegan options.....there are a few and more vegetarian. Today they had fresh falafels....I was in!
