Flower Power

Delicious and filling Mother Earth bowl. Hippie-Industrial vibes. Vents were blowing cool air a little strong for March.

Good vegan options, clear menu

Menu is above the register where you order. Vegan and vegetarian items have clear icons. I had a bowl of potato curry soup, which was yummy, and perfect on a chilly day. And the Thai Dye wrap, which came with salad on the side, was also very tasty.

Pros: Clear menu icons for vegan, Helpful, friendly staff, Healthy, fresh, and tasty food

Pretty good

Solid vegan options. I liked the avocado hummus and the glow bowl. Good place to go if you’re with friends who are not vegan.

Healthy food served quickly

Flower Child offers some vegan dishes in the daily options. The food is healthy and the portions are not very large but it is convenient for a quick lunch. The food is not very expensive and the setting is nice. The taste of the dishes was not outstanding so not to be tested on purpose if you are looking for a good vegan meal.

Pros: several vegan options, healthy food, quick, affordable, nice

Cons: not 100% vegan, rather simple dishes

Fast casual salads & bowls

Got the Vietnamese Crunch, a salad with mixed greens & fruits. It was fresh and a fine lunch. Staff is friendly & helpful. I'll come back when I'm at Washington Radiology again.

Pros: Vegan options, no vegan tax (tofu priced properly)

Cons: Loud at lunchtime, at least on this Friday.

Lots of Choices

First time here. Excited about all the options. Like the vibe. Got the glow bowl with tofu - way too spicy for me. I finished it, it was good - but probably won’t get again. The tahini hummus is okay. If you want great hummus, Little Sesame isn’t far away. There is a swap for veggies 3, so I assumed the accompanying pita was part of cost - but it was an extra $1. If I knew that, I’d have paid the $2 for GF or $3 for the veg. Not clearly marked. Will try this place again.

Pros: Clearly marked menu (v)(veg)(gf) , Protein is after to add - freeing up more options, Tofu is the cheapest protein to add

Cons: Pricey, Made to order - longer wait

Vegan galore

This place is adorable cafeteria style eating with many plant based options as marked on their extensive menu of sides (veggies), salads, wraps and bowls. They have the menu marked for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free, and the options are quite exciting!

There are two very delicious vegan salads, with fresh greens and veggies. They have so many delicious side plates like Indian cauliflower and Thai papaya noodles, as well as sugar snap peas, hummus, sweet potato and broccoli - all with delicious fresh flavor. Their bowls are also quite flavorful and fresh, like forbidden rice, Thai cashew quinoa and a "glow bowl." You can't go run! Fun and healthy, fast and relatively filling.

I'd definitely order a salad and some sides if you're hungry.

Pros: Menu markings, Fresh ingredients, Open kitchen

Cons: Not 100% veg

delicious

Four of us vegans went for the first time to Flower Child and loved it. The food was delicious, and the staff were great. Nice atmosphere, and we could stay and talk as long as we liked. Only negative was some of us left not feeling as full as we would have liked. What an unusual experience to go to a restaurant in the U.S. and feel that you didn't get quite enough to eat!

Pros: delicious food, great staff, nice atmosphere

Cons: portions could be a little larger, nutrition information would be helpful
