MUST try while your'e in Queenstown

Fergburger is a place you MUST go to if your in Queenstown. They have 2 vegetarian burgers which can be made vegan. I have only had the 'holier than thou' and it is amazing. The coocnut sauce and aoli are not vegan so make sure you ask them not to put it on, I ask for sweet chilli sauce and avocado just to give it a bit more taste. The staff actually know what's vegan and what's not which makes it really easy to eat from here. The chips are also vegan but they are pretty average compared to their amazing burgers. The only downside to Fergburger is the limited seating available and the huge wait! I would suggest ringing and ordering ahead and then sitting somewhere nice and eating your burger. I have waited 45 minutes for a burger, but it was worth it.

Pros: amazing food, open almost 24/7, big burgers

Cons: huge lines, limited seating

Two veg burgers

They have two veggies burgers that can be made vegan. One is a tempura fried tofu burger with veggies and sauce on it. The sauce that comes on it has dairy in it so you have to remove that to make it vegan but you can add the chipotle sauce as a good sub. The next is a falafel burger and you have to do something similar with that. I paid NZD $17 for the tofu burger and a side of frys. The burger is huge and the side of frys is large as well.

Pros: large portion, friendly staff

Cons: busy, not much seating
