No vegan wings anymore! - Edit
We went here to try the wings as our tour guide told us they were his favourite. But they are no longer on the menu. Neither is the vegan burger. So we left and didn’t eat. Pity 😕

Good selection - Edit
Really good selection, so far we’ve only tried the cauli wings and polenta fries but they were great. In general it’s a great vibe in there we love it

Excellent! - Edit
Solid and pretty unique vegan glazed tofu burger! The large tofu patty is pre-soaked in sriracha and maple syrup, but I'm very sensitive to spicy food and I had no problems with this burger. It was very yummy! They also offer vegan cauliflower wings and onion rings, as well as great beer. Thankful for this spot in the heart of downtown! Park about a 5 minute walk away near public bathrooms rather than try to get a spot right in front.

Tasty burger - Edit
I had the vegan tofu burger and it was very good and spicy. It came with a portion of fries, what I didn’t know, so I had already ordered the polenta fries. I wouldn’t order the polenta fries again. The prices was good for the size of the portion. If only the burger had cost that much it would be a bit too expensive, but with the extra fries it is a reasonable price.

Recommend for food and beer! - Edit
Came here for a commisoratory beer after our sky dive had been cancelled for the second time. We found a surprisingly good food menu so also stuck around for some bar snacks!
Read moreThe food menu is good and very clear as to dietary / allergen needs (with plenty of vegan and veggie choice!).
The drinks menu is also great as it very clearly flags the vegan beer choices, of which there are quite a few (or at least there were when I visited - the taps constantly change)! I'd rate it 5 if I could, just for this feature. I defo recommend getting the tasting paddle (4 beers) for $21.
Pros: Clear vegan options on drinks, not just food

I had the vegan tofu burger it was so delicious and not too spicy for this white girl. The thick cut chips were delicious as well. It was so good I had to go back a second time and this time tried the vegan Mac and cheese as well 🤤 so so yummy! And very friendly service 😊

Good vibes, good beer - Edit
Had the vegan Mac n cheese and the polenta fries. Both were decent and satisfied our cravings. There is a selection of board and card games you can take to your table. Good beers on tap including a range of local options. Go for a beer and a snack, but maybe not your top tier for dinner.

Do not understand veganism - Edit
I asked for the vegan option of their beach tree vegetarian burger. They just gave me the regular beach tree vegetarian burger which it turns out only has fried cheese curds instead of a veggie patty which I had thought. So the vegan option of this would just be some avocado and capsicum and lettuce for 20nzd... I revised my order (which they were super nice about) to the plant based chick'n patty which the menu says is vegan, but there was aoli and ranch dressing on it, both of which had no indication that it was plant based.

Cute casual spot for beers and food - Edit
Good surprise with this place as we only stopped in for a beer and was a little surprised by the good options they had! We got the fried pickles - crunchy flavourful and had a dill chipotle dip that was great! Mac and cheese was warming and seemed to be a potato/vegetable base with angel parm so filling and felt healthy enough! They had two good sound burgers and a couple of other bits too. Great beer, cozy spot, board games, quiz nights etc. recommend for a chill afternoon or evening

Good food, good vibes - Edit
Everyone was very friendly. When we traveled through they had a new vegan chef into desserts. There was a lovely brownie! Cauli bites were good, batter is curry flavored, take that into consideration while picking a sauce. Plant burger was excellent. Also lots of great beers dog friendly with a pup burger and a pup beer as well

We ordered too much but it was gooood and they gave us a takeaway box. Mac and cheese was great, “burger” was great but my favourites were the various sides.

Great atmosphere - Edit
This is a really nice place to just chill out in Queenstown. There’s a comfy couch, warm fire, lots of board games, nice drinks (vegan ones on tap are marked), several vegan options for food and it’s dog-friendly inside. We tried the vegan mac n cheese, which was yum.

Good atmosphere, good wings - Edit
Got two orders of vegan wings and Mac N' Cheese both were really tasty.
Read moreWent outside of a major tourist time (and during covid19 so no international tourists) and the bar was just what you'd want for dinner early in the evening, quiet enough to chat but busy enough not to feel deserted.
Vegan food menu on their website is not up to date, they had added more flavors of vegan mayo/relish for their wings when we were there so had even more vegan options (and they had loads before).
They also have a wide range of beers/ciders listed online and above the bar clearly marked with which are vegan.
