On the way back today from a quick trip to Dallas, we found a new gem in Amarillo, @feed_me_amarillo.
Read moreAccording to the owners, this new vegan spot was just opened in June, so they’re just getting their feet wet. But looking at the map of where there patrons are traveling from, it looks like they are already pros!
The food was amazing! I had the “steak” hoagie with melted plant-based cheese, peppers, and onions. It’s probably the best thing I’ve had in months! Devin had the @beyondmeat burger on Texas toast, which was also top notch! The shop is very quaint, quirky, and fun, and the owners were so pleasant! We ordered to-go, but spent several minutes chatting them up.

Such lovely people! I feel like I made a mistake when ordering for pick up. I don’t like to use delivery apps like Door Dash and somehow when I ordered on line via toast, my order came up as Door Dash. I don’t know if I could have called them and order directly.
Read moreWe ordered chili cheese dogs with sweet potato tots and fried pickles. Dogs were rustic and brought comfort, like something you might put together at home, with the benefit of not having to. The sweet potato tots were ok and the fried pickles were good.

Great vegan cafe - Edit
The menu is small but they add specials daily. The biscuits and sausage gravy were the best, I got a scrambled egg on the side. It all was incredibly good.

Venue is small with fun, different decor. Menu is limited but is all vegan and the Phillie cheese steaks were wonderful - some of the best vegan cheese I have ever had.

A great find in this area of meat 😭 All vegan; freshly cooked, lots of choice, helpful and attentive staff and good portion sizes for the price! I had the Philly Cheesesteak and my husband had the BYO Sandwich. Sooo good!

Highly recommend! Family owned and delicious! So welcoming and amazing food! All plant-based/vegan! Makes you feel like you found home! We had a chicken sandwich with waffle fries and a BLT with fried green tomatoes! YUM!!!
