Charity shop giving profits directly to Farplace Animal Rescue which has a no kill policy. NOTE: no fresh produce sold here. Open Mon-Sat 09:00-17:00, Sun 10:00-16:00.
Really friendly staff, surprisingly nice kitchen items, furniture, and clothes😄It also looks like "Farplace animal rescue" also organizes vegan events around the UK. Please go support more guys!
All vegan, takes so many donations that places like bhf would reject (even though they are perfectly fine!) used to sell food years ago but doesn’t any longer. Have bought a mattress, two armchairs and a sofabed from here for £40 altogether. Recently got about 15 brand new and recent novels from here for £5 (3 for £1). Just amazing!
One of the first local charities to open post COVID lockdown easing of restrictions. I popped up with around 4 months worth of donations in the car boot (“trunk” for our American readers). Very gratefully received they were too. Not sure why it’s on Happy Cow to be honest but proceeds do go to help the animals they rescue. Huge store with something for everyone, except vegan food of course. Oh, and they did say they needed books. So I popped up a few days later with quite a few.
