So many vegan options - Edit

Amazing selection of vegan options as you walk through. Got the Samosa Chaat at Indish. So good.

Riley Park Farmers Market - some organic and vegan vendors - Edit

I visited the Riley Park market in August 2021. Fully vegan vendors were Fourth Avenue Treats and PlantBase (who had several buy-one-get-one-free items on offer). You may need to check the vendors' own websites for dates they'll be at particular market locations. There were also producers of microgreens, mushrooms, flowers, Syrian food and vegetables and fruit, including from the Tsawwassen First Nation Farm School (Kwantlen Polytechnic University partnership).
The day I was there, a singer/guitarist was entertaining market goers.

I see that you can pre-order online from vendors and pick up on the day.

Location in summer, May 1-October 30: 30th Avenue & Ontario Street.

So much good food, carrying it home is a cardio workout - Edit

I can hardly express how much I love my farmer's market! In the summer, I can pretty much do all my food shopping at the market and don't even need to set foot in a grocery store. In addition to the most beautiful and varied fruit and veg you've ever seen, there are a tonne of local vegan-friendly vendors: breads and baked goods, hummus and tapenade, pierogies, soups and curries, jams, pot pie! It's also awesome to chat with the farmers and bakers themselves and get to know where you food comes from and who grows or makes it. One of the happiest days of the year for me is when the West End market opens for the season.

Nice place - Edit

Lovely market with a great choice of fresh products. For vegans: don’t miss the Tempeh produced by Tempea! Delicious! You can find also vegan cakes, vegan chocolate, vegan raw food!
