Feels Traditional! - Edit
Being from New Jersey I’m used to a New York Falafel in those street cards wrapped in Pita & Tin Foil, smothered in Sauce, but this place seems to prepare this famish dish differently. That’s not a bad thing, and I suspect they are preparing it closer to the original incarnation of the sandwich.
Read moreI ordered a Falafel in Pita with a side of French Fries, i would personally beware of the fries, they taste like those classic thick potato, thin skinned fries you might get at a snack stand at a T-ball game. Nothing special there but I did really enjoy my Falafel. It may be a little pricier but can you blame the Falafel “King” for demanding a shinier penny for being the best at what they do?!
Well it probably has to do with rent and their location but not a bad place to go if you want a quicker bite in the area.
Interior makes you feel you’re in a different part of the world, with music and decor it certainly doesn’t feel like boulder. I liked the vibe, cashier was very jovial snd happy to be serving. I’d recommend!

Go-to Lunch option - Edit
I work on Pearl, and Falafel King has been my go-to lunch spot for a quick and tasty lunch. Its family run, I've been seeing some of the same people there for 9 years. I always get it to go, but there is seating inside and 4 small tables out front. I always get the Falafel and Hummus wrap. All the sides are labeled on what is vegan, so you could get a Falafel Plate and choose 2 or 4 sides like Dolmas, Baba Gounoush, Red Pepper Hummus or Regular Hummus, Olives, Pickles, Turkish Tomatoes. Mushrooms, etc.

Fantastic! - Edit
Falafel King is now the oldest restaurant on the Pearl Street mall and there's a reason. Fantastic Mediterranean food. I love the (vegan) falafel with and without hummus. The baba ganouj is great and the rose lemonade is very good.
