Large organic supermarket with a wide range of vegan items, including soy products, margarine, spreads, ice cream, chocolates, organic vegetables and fruits and more. Also has a little bistro with one or two lunch options - one is always vegetarian but not vegan. Lunch served Mon-Fri 12-2pm. Open Mon-Fri 08:00-20:00, Sat 08:00-18:00.

Great vegan choice and friendly staff - Edit
I've been buying nearly all of my food at this place for a year now. The choice for vegans is great. There are very few things that I need that I can't find there and many products that I don't need but love (e.g. yummy vegan chocolates and ice creams).
Read moreEverything they sell is organic and they offer many fair trade products.
They also have a good selections of natural organic cosmetics, quite a few of which are vegan.
Additionally, they have a small section of natural organic clothes. However those are often not vegan (many wool products but also some cotton and hemp items available).
The staff has always been very friendly. I also like the relaxed atmosphere there. There is no rush at the cash desk, no pressure to be efficient all the time. It's miles away (in a positive sense) from the shopping experience in other big supermarkets and also much better than my experience in other organic supermarkets in Heidelberg.
The prices are average for an organic supermarket in this area. That means, it's certainly more expensive than other (non-organic) supermarkets.
Unfortunately, there are no markers for vegan products and it is unclear which wines are vegan.
Pros: many vegan products, organic, fair-trade, very friendly and relaxed atmosphere
