A Little Vegan Eden in the South East - Edit
I came here on a Sunday with a few friends for lunch and we left absolutely delighted.
Read moreThe Spicy Chick’n Burger had a nice kick to it, the onion rings were golden and crispy, the corn ribs with the sauce were delicious and while it was mouth-watering, the serving sizes for the gelato were so massive that as much as I wanted to I couldn’t finish my three scoops!
The menu has something for everyone and the prices are quite affordable. The owners were very hospitable, and were kind enough to let us try a few different gelato flavours.
The cafe itself is quaint and inviting, everything was clean and there is also a shelf of board games to play which is a lovely touch.
Location-wise it is a little off the beaten path in the industrial area but it’s still well worth the visit 💚

Great value, amazing gelato - Edit
Had a chickn burger, onion rings, durian gelato and a cappocino. Everything was spot on! Burger was big and tasty, onion rings portion big and crispy, gelato very flavourful and foam of cappocino silky smooth. Will visit again.

Great food and staff - Edit
This cafe is open on Sundays but you will need to press a button at the front to open a gate. This is slightly inconvenient but shouldn't be a problem once you're used to it. There is plenty of parking if you are driving there. The food is quite tasty. There is a wide selection of burgers and different ice cream. The staff working there are very kind and friendly. There are plenty of seats and tables inside as well as a couch. Overall it is a great place.

I found the spice chick'n burger to be delicious, and also enjoyed the sides of corn ribs. They have an amazing range of gelato flavours, and while I could only fit one scoop in after the rest of the meal I will definitely go back to try some more.

The burgers are fresh and delicious, the corn ribs are super tasty and the gelato is amazing. Excellent service. Plenty of parking and a comfortable seating space with board games.

We took public transport here (train and bus) so it is possible not to drive here even from Melbourne’s inner north.
Read moreWe ordered the crispy mushroom burger, eggplant burger, onion rings and corn cobs. I also ordered a cold brew with cream. The burgers were really tasty, a good size and very reasonably priced. Also they were very generous with fillings. I liked the corn cobs with the sauce and the onion rings too. Not oily either. The cold brew was very nice.
We took the gelato white chocolate salted caramel and cookies and cream as well. It was served in a cup with paper spoons.
There is a spacious dine in area, I noticed there were games to sit and play. Order at the counter.
The owners were really nice.

Food is beautifully presented and tasted amazing. I had the crispy mushroom burger with the corn ribs which were both so so good. Also had the raspberry/white chocolate ice cream which was super creamy and yum. Will definitely be going again and trying the chicken burger next time. Burgers are also not too expensive.

We were fortunate to benefit from their opening special deal. Mushroom burger, corn ribs and gelato for $10. A scrumptious bargain. Enjoyed everything. The hazelnut chocolate gelato was decadent. Will definitely be back. Owners are delightful.

The crispy mushroom burger is so good! I took home a tub of Belgium Chocolate Gelato and had to fight the family for it. It is incredibly decadent and chocolatey! Well worth every penny!

Affordable feed in the East - Edit
I recently discovered Everdale on Instagram and decided to give it a try. The menu is incredibly affordable, with burgers ranging from $10-12 and reasonably priced sides. The mushroom burger was packed with flavour, featuring a great 'meaty' texture and a satisfying crispiness. The cornribs were spot on, perfectly spiced and full of flavour.
Read moreI couldn't resist trying their hazelnut ice cream, and it didn't disappoint—creamy and delicious! They offer about 12 different flavours, including caramel biscoff, cookies and cream, berry, durian, and more. It was tough to choose just one!
The café has plenty of seating, including some comfy couches. If you're looking for a tasty and affordable feed, Everdale is definitely worth a visit!

@Tiggy - after doing some research, this was about a social media post I made nearly two years ago. I did use honey for the black sesame gelato flavor at the time, but have since learned that honey is not vegan and have swapped it with maple syrup since last year...
