Best vegan donut in Melbs - Edit
Vegan chocolate custard donut is the best - well balanced, fluffy and fresh, not too sweet and goes down a treat...

donuts - Edit
Always running out of vegan options. Once I ordered a vegan box and they gave me donuts that weren’t what i asked for - had to give it away as I couldn’t be sure they were vegan :/

Vegan donuts and pies - Edit
Great choices and prices! Only one kind of vegan veggie pie. Downside I’ve been there a couple times now were I’ve been waiting in that very long line to get to the front to be told they are out of vegan items which is disappointing they don’t put a sign out the front or something so people aren’t wasting their time waiting and the staff do not seem to care at all as they are so overworked.

24 hour vegan doughnuts! - Edit
Oct 2019
Read moreSampled all of the custard flavours and have to say I didn't enjoy the filling a whole lot; the apple custard was probably the best, however. The dough itself is very good.
Feb 2018
The doughnuts are all quite good and the 6 for $15 deal is good value, but I think there is room for improvement with the flavours; the custard cream is a touch synthetic for my taste. The pie is also quite good and I was pleased to hear both the pie and pasty are palm oil free.

Pros: Plenty of vegan choices, Palm oil free pie and pasty

Vegan donuts? Yes please! - Edit
I have had the donuts several times from here but still haven't tried the pies yet. I am not a fan of all the donut flavors, in particular the custard based ones which to me have a strange flavour, but my partner loves those the most, so I'm sure it's subjective. My favourites are the jam and cream and oreo ones
Read morePros: Vegan donuts!!!, Reasonably priced compared with other donut places
Cons: Long lines some times, Sometimes out of certain flavours

Delicious! Must try! - Edit
The Custard donut is to DIE FOR! Honestly so good. Great selection of vegan treats. Lovely staff. We got the custard, oreo and glazed. The glazed was like eating a krispy kream (one of my old favs from the non-vegan days) so that was a hit! The oreo was nice, but a bit bland in the middle. It could do with a filling. We will be back!

best donuts - Edit
recently discovered this place and i'm super happy. love the vegan custard and glazed donuts. probably the best vegan donuts i've had in australia (and i freakin' love donuts). definitely worth the drive. open 24 hours and they always seem to have A LOT of vegan ones available unlike some places that sell out very fast.

supply not meeting demand - Edit
3rd time I've came at about 9pm and they have been all sold out. Wtf first time coming in 6 months so I assumed they would have addressed this issue but I was obviously wrong.

What a treat! - Edit
Love the fact this place has made the effort to have a vegan selection of donuts, and has priced them reasonably too with 6 for $15 (MUCH cheaper than donut time which is like $8 PER donut!)
Read moreThey're clearly labelled and pretty much separate from the bulk of other products which is thoughtful.
They've got 6 flavours from memory, we tried 5 of them and really liked them all! They were light/fluffy, not too sickly and generous with topping and filling.
Will definitely be returning when in the area!

Not bad.. - Edit
Look, I’ll be honest, this place is okay but way over-hyped. The doughnuts aren’t bad but they’re nothing extraordinary either.
Read moreThey’re open till very late which is nice if you’re driving by or in the area and craving some desserts, but I personally wouldn’t go out of my way.
It’s nice of them to have vegan options, though.

I think I got a bad batch - Edit
Look... I will try them again because I realise my experience was different to everyone else's.
Read moreMy 6 pack of donuts was really dry and the jam ones had little jam. Also, the flavoured one only had a sprinkling of flavour on the outside and no filling. But everyone else who's tried them said they were delicious and my sister has been multiple times and said they've improved.
I also saw they've added a cream-filled vegan donut.
Thus, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. If yours sucked, too, maybe that was also one of those rare mis-haps?
Pros: Quite cheap, On the south side of Melbourne, Apparently they're nice, according to others
Cons: Mine weren't great, Mine were dry, Mine were a bit bland

great - Edit
they have clearly labeled vegan flavours, there's 5 all together and yes I tried all of them and I also tried a vegan curry pie. The pie was out of this world amazing the donuts were great but nothing spectacular.
Read morePros: vegan labels., always open.
Cons: may be a fad that's short lived., won't stay as fresh if they become less popular do

Donuts mmmm! - Edit
These are the best vegan donuts I have tried in Melbourne. They were delicious, fresh and soft. I had the Oreo and the original glaze. The donuts are $3 each or a box of 6 for $15.
Read moreThe vegan selection they have is: cinnamon, jam, original glaze, oreo glaze and peanut butter and jelly, which I was keen to try but they didn't have when I was there.
I also bought the vegan curry pie and the pastie. I think these 2 could be improved and were not worth $6 each. I think they should both be priced at $4.50. The pie filling could be more firm and have more flavour. But it's still a great quick meal to have on the run.
This place is just across from Vegie Bowl Springvale which works well for us vegans.
Pros: Fresh, tasty donuts, 6 for $15
Cons: Pies & Pasties could be cheaper, Pies & Pasties could taste better, Could have more vegan pie & donut varieties
