It’s a trap!

The description here on HappyCow is lying. I went there and they didn’t have any of the options mentioned here. They knew what veganism was, but the only vegan option besides salad was a wrap that seemed very uninteresting. Also, it’s pricy, and the atmosphere doesn’t justify it—this is your typical hotel restaurant similar to all others nearby. Oh, and it was difficult to find as well: there are no signs outside the hotel, so it wasn’t clear where you’re supposed to enter. I ended up giving up and going some place else.

An amazing dining experience

Chef Julie Frans' creativity and deep understanding of food pairing, favors, and textures is welcoming to anyone who lives a plant-based lifestyle, but loves diversity in food. The menu has clearly designated vegetarian and vegan choices and goes beyond the common tofu entrée. Also has excellent dessert selections. Just a few notations that I’m inclined to share:
The Oyster Mushroom Ceviche…creative, delicious and competition ready.
The Haitian Legume…perfect pairing of vegetables and grains.
Chickpea Cauliflower kale Curry… I’m still thinking about this and have had cravings for more since having it.
Coconut Milk Grits…as a southern boy I can vouch that these are truly exceptional.

Pros: The executive chef Julie Frans' is exceptional , beautiful and elegant decor with friendly staff, strong knowledge of vegan, gluten-free ingredients

Cons: none
