There's only a few vegan options on the menu - hope they expand them! I ordered the Jamaican curry bowl - there was tons of veggies (yum!) but was way too spicy for me.

Amazing "Old Hangout" Tiki Lounge! I'd never been to a McMenamins, and it was SUPER cool. Spent 2 hours longer than intended and wish I had another 2. The Montego Bay Bowl (comes vegan) sounded good but tasted even better. They were happy to sub in kung pao sauce instead of remoulade with the Jamaican jerk bbq sweet potato fries. And drinks were legit! Plus there's a hidden speakeasy on floor 3...

There are only a couple vegan options, which is why I give 3 stars. But if you are in the mood for a greasy cheez burger with crispy tots, this place is definitely for you!

Great place but not for the food - Edit
First of all, I really LOVE McMenamins. I’m working on my second passport... I really enjoy the funky art, the atmosphere, the wonderful cocktails, the entertainment, etc. etc. etc. BUT, I do not go there for the food, especially breakfast and desserts. There are so few vegan choices (though the fresh-cut fries and tots are awesome) and the salads are so-so (but the marinated onions are a great topping). As a Portland-based business, they are really missing the boat when it comes to offering vegan options. Hopefully that will change in the future.
