They know how to make soup. They always have vegetarian and vegan options. Owner is a gem who contributes to her community. But bring cash! They do not take checks or cards.
They had 4 different vegan soups available when we went and were really friendly in telling us about the other vegan soups the owner makes. To go only but we really enjoyed them.
These are honestly the best soups I've ever had, every time I go. The place is a hard-to-find hole in the wall and the food is amazing. I could see this place winning a James Beard American Classics award one day.
I should go here more often as it’s across the street from my work and the soup is quite tasty and innovative. There was a coconut and potato I remember being very tasty along with many others. Some of the bread is also vegan including the multigrain ciabatta roll that is similar to the ones from Whole Foods.
My only “complaint” is that they lean on the salty side. I would reduce the salt if it were me cooking it up. People can add their own salt but you can’t subtract it.
I’ve heard people refer to this place as “The Soup Nazis” referencing Seinfeld but I think that’s more about wishful thinking! There aren’t many all-soup places so that’s an easy association. I actuality find the staff quite polite and helpful.
Be sure to check their hours as they’re limited. When lunch time is over, it’s “No soup for you!” 😀
Delicious! They have a few vegan options and a few vegetarian options. I had the coconut curry potato and it was delicious! Perfect for a cold February day. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the soups. The only downside is its cash only and there weren’t any atms nearby so we had to trek down to downtown to use one. Will be more prepared in the future.
Great vegetarian choices, limited vegan options. All their soups are AMAZING!!! I love that the locals lovingly calls them the Soup [censored] (Jerry Seinfeld nod).
OK, so they don't have an infinite number of soups. But every day they have about four vegan soups and several more vegetarian ones. You can have a taste of the soups before you buy. I've enjoyed all the soups I've gotten here over the last few years. On the down side, the soup can be pretty salty (so sampling first is a good idea.) Not too salty to taste good, but salty enough that you wouldn't want to eat it every day. Also, this is just a store front with no seating, so be ready to take your soup home or wherever for eating. In all, I love having Infinite Soups in my neighborhood. In fact, I might stop there tonight.
I love to make a trip down to Infinite for lunch when it's a gloomy, rainy day. They always have at least one vegan soup, sometimes up to 4 or 5, and you can check the daily menu on their facebook page. I personally love the chickpea curry. It's pretty cheap, but they only take cash which is annoying. Overall, the tasty soup trumps the inconvenience. I wish there was seating, as I usually end up eating it in my car.
Usually 4-6 vegan soups daily, plus several more that are veggie. When in a hurry, a quart or half to go along with some bread makes a perfect dinner. Sometimes a bit salty and or spicy!!!! But excellent overall.
They always offer a few vegetarian soups every day and at least one vegan option. Their selection changes daily so you never get bored of the same old soups. The downside of this is that if you find a soup that you really love, you have to keep coming back to see if they have made it that day. Affordable and delicious soups. Also, they have a booth at the downtown Farmer's Market every Thursday during the summer.
