VEGANS BEWARE

After years of using Happy Cow, I finally created an account solely to write a review this place. I would NOT recommend Elevation burger to any vegans whatsoever. Their veggie burger is NOT completely vegan, even though it as advertised as such! When I asked people working up there, they were not knowledgable about veganism as well, but after a ton of probing I found that their bun is not vegan. You could always get the burger on a lettuce wrap (disappointing I know), but beware about some of the toppings that come on the so called “vegan” burger. Their mushrooms, for instance, are cooked in a fish sauce- which they will not disclose unless you ask. Their burger is terrible anyway, there are a million other places you can check out in Houston for a delicious one. Their fries are cooked separately from meat, but they’re soggy and taste like cardboard so I wouldn’t recommend them either. Such a disappointment, as they’re advertised on google as a top vegan burger place.

Pros: literally none whatsoever

Cons: terrible burger, falsely advertised as vegan, uunknowledgable employees

I've had better

I had their vegan burger and it was okay. It was dry and pretty plain. I've had way better vegan burger at other places. It was expensive for the quality too, so I wasn't extremely happy about that.
I won't really come back unless one of my friends really wants to go, but I would not ever crave going back.

Limited vegan options

Good vegan burger, a bit dry, yet okay for fast food. Available on bun, or lettuce wrap. Only three of the available sauces are vegan; ketchup, mustard, and BarBQ. Numerous burger toppings, onion, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños, for no extra charge. No vegan cheese. Server unsure if guacamole vegan, available at additional charge. Shoestring hand cut fries cooked to order in olive oil, good. Teas included green, black & the usual sweetened, unsweetened, Lipton flavored. Other drinks in case/bottles. Some salads, most with meat or pre-dressed with non-vegan toppings/dressings. Friendly service. Clean, comfortable, contemporary space. Drive thru available. Be specific about wanting everything vegan. Vegan burger option listed on menu with elevation sauce as standard, yet elevation sauce is not vegan, has animal dairy in it. Small parking lot. Moderate to expensive pricing. Vegan burger 4.99, combo with fries & drink, $9.99. A la carte fries $3.49. Food made to order.

Pros: Vegan fast food burger, hand cut fries, Cooked to order, Parking & drive thru

Cons: Not 100% vegan. Only one vegan burger, Moderate to expensive

Tasty vegan "fast food" experience!

Chain restaurant Elevation Burger has 2 veggie burgers, one of which is clearly labelled vegan. It comes on a either a bun or lettuce wrap and is topped with lettuce, tomato and pickles. At the Houston location the burger itself is $4.99 and the meal with large fries and a soft drink is $9.99. The patty is made with brown rice and has juicy bits of corn. The fries are cooked in olive oil and have a nice flavor, with the right amount of salt.

Cons: Little bit expensive for what you get
