Tacu tacu - Edit

I had the tacu tacu (yes, I had to Google what it was... Basically fried rice with lentils or beans). Their vegetarian version came with a yellow curry with lots of onion and some bell pepper. All in all not too bad.

Cons: Not clearly marked options, No English menu

Not a single vegan option - Edit

Although on happycow, when I arrived and asked for vegan option, I got told that there wasn't any! I don't know if they have got rid of the options but they were also very unhelpful, would give a 0 star but there is no option for that

Pros: Nice looking place

Cons: No options , Rude staff

Cute little place in Nazca - Edit

We enjoyed our meals here - garlic bread, pesto pasta and napolitana pasta. The garlic bread was an absolute dream, we ordered two lots and they were big serves! Was a nice little place with friendly staff. Would eat there again if in Nazca.

strange atmosphere - Edit

After I asked for the waiter showed me the vegetarian options which seemed to be only salads and soups... only on my request he showed me the pasta page and began to read aloud what I could have read on my own.
I asked if the pesto is without cheese and he said it's possible without it.
So I ordered Spaghetti al pesto without cheese. He walked away and seemed already to have forgotten what it was, as he asked me again after writing the note for the kitchen.
Finally the dish came and it was Fettuccini with pesto, as they were not even able to bring the right pasta, I'm not sure if I really ate pesto without cheese.
The pasta was aldente but way too salty.
The atmosphere was strange too, as it seems to be a nice restaurant but they played "cumbia and reageton".

Pros: aldente pasta

Cons: confused staff, "music", not much options

Riquísimo! - Edit

After three Restaurants denied the possibility to offer a vegetarian option, I was glad I found El Patron. The waiter showed me the vegetarian dishes in the menu and which could be adapted. Vegan is at least the spaghetti agli e olio with mushrooms and olives, if you cancel the parmesan. The dish was prepared quickly and was very delicious. As it is very difficult to find even vegetarian food in Nasca, I highly recommend this restaurant.
