Mostly good portions, friendly staff - Edit
The staff was aware of what dish was vegan and not. For example, the pasta is with eggs. And when ordering they defaulted to asking whether you want your dish with eggs or not.
Read moreCan't say from memory which where vegan, but at least the crispy eggplant with potatoes and Peruvian/Chinese rice with veggies are vegan.
Portions are generally quite big. I did order an additional portion of potatoes with crispy eggplant though, since that portion had a lot of eggplant and few potatoes. It tasted very nice though.
Pros: Staff knows what's vegan, Eggplant and potatoes tasted nice

Best Option in Nazca?! - Edit
Mamashana is located between the plaza and bus station and has a cute, elegant adobe atmosphere—maybe one of the more “upscale” places in town.
Read moreThere’s a whole vegetarian section to the menu with reasonable prices for generally very generous portions of high quality food. They have vegan protein (quinoa) dishes unlike other places in town, and they are delicious.
Loved the rice and quinoa chaufas. One of the best meals I’ve had in two weeks in Peru. One staff went above and beyond service. Nice escape from the hustle of town.

Finally Quinoa!!! - Edit
This is the only place I’ve found in Nazca with vegan protein. It was beautiful and delicious and the restaurant was just down right charming. The waiter also spoke English which was helpful

Yummy - Edit
Had a great vegan pasta and beer here. I wasn't expecting the portion size to be as large as it was, so that was a nice little surprise. Decent place for a few vegan options in Nazca.

Pancakes and cauliflower - Edit
I had the (vegetarian) pancakes with chocolate. It's just one pancake, so maybe don't take this if you're super hungry, but for me it was the perfect breakfast after arriving in Nazca by nightbus and crashing in the hostel 'till noon.
Read moreI went here again the next day. While their desserts are good, their main course lacked in taste. The cauliflower dish was very bland, without any seasoning. Ask for salt, pepper and ketchup.

many vegan options, satisfying meals - Edit
They have one whole page dedicated to "vegetariano and vegano". Staff is also knowledgeable about veganism and will help you. I had the fried cauliflower with potatoes and avocado, a very dense and filling meal. Although for my taste they could have added some fresher stuff also like a salad. My boyfriend had the avocado sandwich, which he loved and later the fettuccine pasta, a peruvian-asian dish, very yummy! The ambiente is cosy and they have wifi and air-con. :)
Read morePros: several vegan options, big meals, knowledgeable staff, good ambiente
Cons: service might be slow, more fresh, raw veggies!

Lovely food, big portions, nice café. - Edit
A steady flow of people into this café; outside seating very popular. Be alert for the chicken and tuna on the veg./vegan menu. Nice selection of food and the dishes that I had were very good. Very comfortable to be here alone. Only fruit salad as pudding option for vegans. Lots of coffee and infusión options. Lovely, quietly-friendly and attentive waitress.

Good vegeterian food - Edit
Loved the food!
Read moreAte here twice. First I had the crunchy coliflower dish. The next day the chickpea burger. I don't know if it is vegan though. Since I'm vegetarian I dindt ask for specifics.
The restaurant is open! But they changed the name to Mamashana. The former Mamashana restaurant (on the same street) is closed.
I added pictures of the new menu to the gallery.

great vegan choice - Edit
Friendly staff, good food. There are two pages with vegetarion/vegan food. Just ask „vegano?“ for a meal, you can easily make changes to make it vegan. Had the crispy cauliflower and chick pea burger without cheese.

Meh - Edit
Had a couple of vegan options that were not clearly labeled. I ordered two items and they were just not good. One was a spaghetti and veggies tirado that I couldn’t finish even with some hot sauce. The other was a cauliflower and rice dish that had no seasoning.

supernice food and friendly staff - Edit
We ate here several times and the food is fresh and the menu starts with vegan and vegetarian options, which I think is great! Lovely quinoa salad and superfresh salade. I loved this place, especially after travelling the north of Peru as a vegan, which was not the best thing.

Excellent - Edit
Food was delicious, we had the lunch „menu“ for 20 soles. You can choose from a list of 3 starters one out of three mains drink (water, coke or chicha morada). The meal is filling. Has a some vegan options also. Unfortunately they think vegetarian food means no meat and poultry only and therefore have tuna in the vegetarian section. just ignore it.

sadly I ended up ordering a salad - Edit
the restaurant is well located and easy to find. They have a vegetarian section of the menu, with two dishes containing real tuna. On the side of the menu there is a vegetarian and a vegan symbol, but when asked which dish was vegan I clearly understood that none of the waiters had any idea of what vegan means: they pointed to me some dishes containing cheese. I ended up having a big salad which I could have ordered anywhere.

Very good - Edit
You have to ask for the vegetarian menu. At least the Quinoa Ceviche is vegan. The food is very good. The ambiente is hipster. Excellent service.
