Really needed this place! - Edit
Struggled to find a decent vegan meal all day so really needed a good meal. The tacos were great. The owners are very friendly. Was not looking for tacos in Japan but so glad I ate here.

Very kind , very good - Edit
everything is super good, the owners are very welcoming.
Read moreSpeaks English, Spanish and even a few words in French well. And of course Japanese because it's not just a restaurant for tourists.
A must if you come to the area. Even make a detour, you won't regret it.
Everything seems to be homemade.
And the cook adapts meals to your culinary particularities.
My best Mexican restaurant and one of my favorites restaurant during 3 month in Japan.
Pros: Very kind owners, funny places with mexicains items, the food is amazing
Cons: nothing to say for me its fine to A at Z

Don’t miss this if in Niigata!! - Edit
One of the best veggie options in Niigata. Friendly, outgoing, English speaking staff and legit big ol’ veggie burritos 🌯. My only regret is that we only came here once during our stay.
Read moreI know it might seem weird to get Mexican food while traveling in Japan, but just trust me! Ask for the veggie menu before you go upstairs so that they don’t have to make an extra trip.

Very satisfying, fully-vegan meal - Edit
When I asked for a vegan wet burrito, the waitress immediately pointed me to the right sauce (Ranchero?) which had no chicken stock in it, and informed me that they also always had two kinds of rice available, and that the vegan one (made without chicken stock) would be in my burrito.
Read moreThey usually drizzle sour cream on top of the burrito, but she ensured I got avocado slices instead. Their tortilla chips are fried not in lard but in vegetable oil, and the frijoles/refried beans are not made with lard either.
All in all, very satisfying meal including three kinds of beans (black beans, pinto frijoles & spicy lentils), soft corn tortillas, and freshly-made-from-scratch guacamole.
So good, I end up going there once a month or so! ^o^
Pros: Permanent separate vegetarian/vegan menu, Very aware of vegan needs, Very friendly staff, English and Spanish spoken
Cons: Small (five tables?), Fills up fast on busy evenings, so call ahead?

Delicious Mexican food with a lot of vegetarian / vegan options! - Edit
This is a great option for vegetarian / vegan people in Niigata city. They have a whole separate vegetarian menu, you just have to ask for it. The service is amazing. I will definitely be coming back again. Best mexican food that ive had in japan!
