Plantain soup 🍌🍲

Enjoyable and seems quite under rated. Not a lot of people sadly and would love to see them filling up for lunch like any other (esp meat serving) establishment. They have local prices (only 10.000p for the lunch menu!) and their food is delicious and great portions. Lovely service. What’s not to love?

The soup was amazing and I drank down the juice almost in one go. The mock meats are all made by whole foods in house, so don’t expect meaty textures or anything.

They said everything on their menu is vegan “today”. Not sure if it is everyday or sometimes vegetarian. 1 of 3 locations.

Hearty meal

Very filling meal for cheap, but no big culinary experience. As other people say you get to choose 7 different items (including drinks and dessert) from a list for 5.500 COP per person.

Cheap and Cheerful

We had the dinner where we could pick 7 options from the menu including juice and a soup. The plate we shared. A bargain at COP5,500. You can’t go wrong.

Returned twice. Lunch time can get very busy so be willing to share your table or join someone. Friendly place.

Pros: Lots of options , Great price

Cons: Busy at lunch time

Barato y rico

Typical Colombian but Vegan

Cozy small restaurant and super nice cook! We had dinner for 5500 Pesos. Vegetabal soup, green rice with different pattys of lentils, vegetables and as dessert fruit pudding made of soy milk.

Decent

A decent and cheap option for lunch (5500 COP). I asked if anything (e.g. the cake) contained eggs, milk, butter, etc and was told no... But I wasn't confident to trust that response.

Wonderful

The place is very basic but the food is wonderful. So many options for 5500 COP. I really liked their soup a lot. Not the place you spend your whole evening, but a really good option to get a healthy, nurturing and tasty meal. Would definitely go back.

Pros: Value for price

Good budget option!

Vegan restaurant with lots of options (you can choose 7 dishes of the menu for 5500cop). The food is good, but not outstanding. I like their creativity in their kitchen (as I had a protein ceviche and some broccoli masala). Their service is good and portions are big. Their home made spicy sauce is the best!

Great for the price

This might be the best deal in Colombia. I went here on a Friday afternoon and there were some seats available so I just sat down and they gave me a piece of paper and a pen. You just look at the menu over on the wall and choose 7 items out of everything listed. Keep in mind that your drink counts as one of the seven items. For the price the food was quite good and I would definitely go back if in this neighborhood. As of October 2018 the price for the meal is only 5000 pesos. I didn't get there until 1:30 in the afternoon so several items had been erased from the board already. It's probably best to get there around 12 noon to make sure all the items are still available.

Pros: Value

Delicioso

Es un restaurante sencillo, pero muy rico y económico. Un almuerzo corriente, bastante generoso por solo COP$5000 (USD$1,8). Recomendado!

Did the job of filling me up in an inexpensive and relatively tasty way

A set-lunch menu that is of the type I've seen a lot in south america but greater clarity on it being fully vegan. A choice of 7 options from the board - you write what you want yourself so quite efficient. Relatively inexpensive by international prices but slightly above for local prices. Food was pleasant. Lots of smiley people there and seemingly few international tourists.

Pros: Inexpensive by international standards, Efficient, Friendly

Cons: Slightly expensive by local standards

Good simple fare

Had the daily menu (absurdly low price of 4600 cop) which came with large bowl of soup, and a plate of food with rice, beans, beets, veggie patty and apple dumpling. On the side there was a rice pudding (made with soy milk).
Food was good nothing fancy improved by adding their ají. Service was friendly and fast

Pros: Vegan, Cheap

Cons: Cookies bit dry

Menu personal

Wonderful home cooked meals

The space itself is nothing fancy but the food is excellent. I really like the soups they make. The staff is very friendly. They have a "soup plate" which is usually fresh slices of papaya. They have nice fresh fruit juices like pineapple and lulo. Every time I go there it's so cheap I have to leave a big tip.

Great food

A great vegetarian restaurant with lots of vegan dishes, food is very tasty and portions are huge. 4500 for a lunch as for august 2016. Very popular place for locals. Coffee is not so good, so better drink something other.

Pros: Tasty, Big portions, Cheap

Cons: Bad coffee

tasty food & great experience

I love this place!
At lunch time the place is full with locals. You have to wait for a seat till somebody finished his/her lunch. You have a lot of interaction with the locals.
First you have to ask for a paper so you can write 7 dishes from the day menu and hand this to the waiter. The food is very tasty and the portions are big.
Don't miss this place!

Pros: tasty vegetarian food, cheap, contact with locals

A great lunch restaurant

Maná serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. For lunch you choose 7 out of 10-15 different meals (starters, mains, salad and drink) for 4000 COP (June 2013).

The owner and his family are vegetarians since "for ever" and makes great vegeterian food inspired by the local flavors and food tradition!

Lunch is served until 2pm (14.00). Beware, not everything on the menu is available if you arrive late - and if you arrive around noon the place is crowded!

Pros: Price, The colombian flavors

Cons: It´s packed around noon

Wonderful, affordable vegetarian food

The set lunch is filling, tasty and very affordable. It is competitively priced with other inexpensive restaurants which is very nice, because many times in Colombia, the set lunch at vegetarian restaurants costs more than non vegetarian restaurants.

Pros: extremely affordable, tasty, fillilng
