Vegan menu is great! - Edit
Have been a few times now, the food and service are always great! They have a happy hour Monday-Friday for drinks as well as nice outdoor seating, we have sat on the front patio every time. We’ve tried a number of things on the vegan menu now and everything has been delicious!

Nice to see an Omni restaurant with a dedicated vegan/vegetarian section on the menu. I got the vegan chimichanga and pupusas, both came with rice and beans. The pupusas were just ok, but I'd be happy to eat the chimichanga again!

We tried the vegan pupusas which were filled with spinach and zucchini and came with curtido, rice and beans - very tasty. Also tried the vegan chimichanga which was full of veggies and also came with beans and rice and guacamole - nice flavors. Very happy to find this place with the app - I've been living close by over a decade and never would have guessed they had so many options for us vegans. Only thing they could improve is the salsa - too many large chunks of onions. Will be back to try other dishes.

My husband is a meat eater. While he will often eat vegan with me, sometimes it’s hard to find a place where we can both have lots of choices. El Golfo fits the bill. Tonight was our first time ordering from here. I had the vegan Tamale plate, it was delicious. It came with black beans, Spanish rice, a few plantains, yuca, guacamole and a cabbage salad. My husband had their slow cooked pork specialty with sides and flan. Both of us will get 2 meals out of our dinners.

Hard to find fully vegan Mexican meals. Their sweet corn tamales are my favorite dessert! Their black beans are seasoned extremely well! I literally left nothing on my plate everything was amazing. Looking forward to trying more. They had about 6 fully vegan meals!
