Good food, bad communication

I went to the old restaurant a few times befor they shut it down, and kept ordering over their delivery service from time to time. With some tips I gave, they improved the Burger a lot, so much that it was just perfect.
Unfortunately they kept experimenting, and every time I told them I prefer the "perfect" recipe. At the end they made the sauce spicy which made it for me difficult to taste the coleslo sauce, the reason why I kept ordering his Burger.

Well I thought maybe I can enjoy his sauce with a salad. I specifically asked if I can get a chickpea salad with lots of coleslo sauce. I got no negative response and confirmed once more I order a chickpea salad with lots of coleslo sauce and one chimichanga.

Well, he brought me the chimichanga and put the coleslo sauce on the side salad that always comes with the chimichanga, which I always keep forgetting that it comes with it.

But the chickpea salad had no coleslo sauce. When I told them I was very disappointed I just got a reply that it changes the taste entirely.
He could have told me that he can't do that or is not willing to do so when I asked before I ordered.

And no apology or anything. Before in other orders when something wasn't perfect they apologised a lot even thou it wasn't a big deal for me.

I took it easy as he kept experimenting with the burger, well untill he changed it once again to make it spicy a second time and I was tired of telling him to not change the recipe.
But yeah, not this time, no apology or anything.

Well, the food is good, just don't try to customize your order, and be always prepared that some food may change completely due to them experimenting with their recipes.

Pros: Good food, late delivery hours

Cons: If you want to customize, you wont be told, That its not going to happen., Some food recipe change constantly.

Tasty!

The burrito was really, really good. The peri peri fries were way too spicy for me (but I am a wimp)

100% vegan and 100% delicious

Do not be confused by the previous reviews. Although the wording is a bit confusing everything here is vegan and homemade. Even the vegan cheeses.
We came here on 2 separate occasions and were not disappointed. The owner is delightful, very friendly and very knowledgeable about the ingredients in his food.
Everything we tried was packed full of flavour and perfectly balanced with lovely condiments. The mint and coriander sauce was our favourite
The menu is an interesting mix of western and Indian.
We particularly enjoyed the bread pakora, the chimichanga and burrito.😀
Make sure you end your meal with a kulfi (Indian ice cream). It took us to heaven and back. So creamy and mouth watering with a hint of banana and cashew. Absolute perfection.
We'll be back again to try more delights off the menu.

They also do deliveries in case you don't want to go all the way there.

It is tucked at the back of the Rubik zoo food court and can seem closed sometimes during the day but it is not. Just walk in.

Great food

The menu is confusing as it doesn’t state the cheese is Vegan but we spoke to the waiter who explained that it is almond cheese and he showed us it out the fridge.

Cheese burgers are amazing and such good value. Costs just over £2 for a cheese burger fries and drink

Pros: Food, Price

Cons: Tricky to find

Good food but I'm worried

First off, the Gobi Manchurian is sooooo good. I planned to get that every day. I was there on tet and they were open. Yay. They told me they would be open all week. Well I went there every day and the last three days I was there they were closed. So I don't know if something changed, but that was disappointing.

We need to talk about the "is it vegan" thing. The previous review says they use real cheese (this was based on their taste/feeling). The review before that says the cheese is really good. I asked them and he said they make it themselves. He also said they just use soy milk to make their vegan butter in the butter chicken. And apparently they make their own mayo and sour cream. Something about the way he told me, made me unsure if he was trustworthy. But I might have been influenced by the previous review.

I was too scared to order anything with their cheese (that's a majority of their menu). I did get something that came with their mayo (I didn't think about it having mayo). And I have to say the mayo didn't taste like any vegan mayo I've had. And it's been way too long for me to remember what real mayo tastes like.

Anyways, it does seem strange to me that a small empty food court restaurant would be making their own imitation of pretty much all dairy based products that taste so realistic that there is debate about it being real. I would think if they make such good imitations, they would be very popular or would have started a business selling the products.

It would be good to somehow get concrete proof either way.

Pros: Food that I had was very good

Cons: Debate about imitations being real

Nice Fake Cheese

Large menu with different kind of food (mexican, Indian, vietnamese, ..) We tried few items and everything was good. The Manager is nice and speak English very well. I would suggest you to try item with cheese because all of them are tasty (fake cottage cheese, cheddar, etc) and the texture is super close to the real one !!

Only thing, we had to wait for a long time, even if we were the only two customers. Everything seems to be made minute so it was a bit long. Worth it if you are not in a rush !

Pros: Lots of options, Fake cheeses so tasty

Cons: Long wait

Excellent choice.

The biggest problem was deciding which things to have as I could easily have picked 30 different things. The choices I had, a dahl and paneer bread were excellent. The blueberry plant milk shake was great also. I went at lunchtime when no other places on the food court were open so if you want a quiet meal it is an ideal time. There’s a stage and performances on an evening so it will be livelier. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about veganism. Prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Pros: Choice , Price , Friendly owner and staff

Worth the wait

The bistro is located inside a big food court (rubik zoo), if you enter through the main entrance at the far right end.
The food I had here (Falafel bowl (65k) and Burrito(75k)) was amazing, Burrito amongst the best I had! My friend had a cheese garlic naan to die for. They only do vegan cheese and it's incredible. One star off because a) our group of six people had to wait around 45 minutes for our food. Maybe it's better when you don't order Saturday evening at 9 but they're supposed to be open till 10. The owner waa really, really nice though and even brought us a card game for the wait. It is possible to have a free delivery, if you don't want to wait. Also, on Friday and Saturday evening the food court has live music which gets quite loud, I'd avoid that. They are working on getting a closed, quiet sitting area right now.
I'll be back!

Pros: So delicious , vegan cheese, cool environment

Cons: long wait , can be loud
