A beautiful sanctuary that is home to hundreds of animals. Chickens, turkeys, cows, pigs, donkeys, cats, one dog (Ruby!), horses, sheep and more. Highly recommend the paid premium tour because the sanctuary runs purely on donations.
So special to spend time with these animals. These recent photos are from my 4th visit and I love it just as much every time.
This place is heaven for rescue animals. Had such a beautiful day here meeting the animals. The shop is amazing too, bought cookbooks, merch and sooo many snacks!
Edgars mission is a must visit ,makes you realise these lovely animals should be our friends and not food .Dares you to connect with the animals makes you confront the fact that we should be plant based for the animals ,ourselves and the survival of the planet as a whole. Farming animals is just plain cruel and outdated and is a major contributor to health issues in people and a cause of pandemics .
Stayed at the Casa del Sunshine tiny house and had a wonderful time meeting the rescued and rehabilitated animals, such an inspiring place to be. Ate all the Cleo’s Peanut Butter Cups I could, amazing selection of vegan candy!!! We will be back for sure.
This not-for-profit farm animal sanctuary is truly wonderful. The founder, Pam Ahern, and her team work tirelessly to rescue and advocate for farmed animals with the aim of a kind and just world for all. They offer free tours of the pristine farm which is a great opportunity for people to interact with animals they wouldn't normally come across. This is my happy place.
