Great food, nice atmosphere and service - Edit
Really cool place and a good stop for ethnic food in Portsmouth. There is a good selection of vegan foods (about 10-15 dishes). We had the Sweet Potato and Plantain Tarkari which were great. Spice level can be chosen from 1-10 so everyone is happy! We also really recommend the vegan Mo-Mos as an appetizer.

Amazing food but could have more vegetarian options. - Edit
The tastes and flavours are terrific. Vegetarian options are better than most places but they could have more.

best food in Portsmouth by far - Edit
I can’t say enough glowing things about this place. It’s a true gem Portsmouth is so lucky to have. Spice level goes from 1-10, I always get the basil tofu Durbar square delicacy & everyone I bring absolutely loves this dish. (My little brother loves the noodles)

Great location and a wide variety of clearly-labeled vegan options. Also lots of items you don’t typically see on a Nepalese restaurant menu; seemed authentic. Our food was delicious!

Very tasty - Edit
My pescatarian spouse and I both loved the food here, which was satisfying and delicious. It was great that items were designated vegan on the menu, and the servers (who seemed to be the owners) were very aware of vegan needs. The view was fun from the second floor dining area. We’d definitely return if in the area.

Delicious, feel good food - Edit
They had a variety of vegan options serving veggies and tofu. The staff were super friendly & helpful talking us through the menu & explaining how all ingredients are natural. You can really tell through the flavours of the dishes!

Unhappy - Edit
I ordered a selection of the vegan options excited. The waiter couldn’t clarify if the vegan momo had meat in it when I saw meat in it and the food was overall just okay. Very expensive and I was left feeling sick after eating. I also found hair in the mushroom and bean tarkari. I wouldn’t go back here again.

This place is a vegan gem! We had the vegetable momos for an appetizer and they were delicious, followed by the lentil dal. I followed up with my entrée of bean & mushroom takari curry which was delicious. Great portions and good service! Try this place and you won't be disappointed.

Delicious Vegan Options - Edit
This place was a great find; we've been there twice this summer. A vegan option (or two, or three) of each type of dish and everything we've tried has been wonderful.
Read moreThey always ask about spice level. So far, we've been cautious (trying levels 2-4) and things have been pleasantly warm without being hot. Will probably push a little higher on the next visit.
Sidewalk service was available as well as indoors, which is broken up into multiple small rooms.
Highly recommend stopping by next time you're in Portsmouth.

GREAT food! - Edit
This is a cozy little restaurant with absolutely delicious food. There’s at least one vegan option on every section of the menu, and everything I tried was very good. Our favorite was the tofu chili, though it was all delicious (including the tamarind ginger drink with vodka added 😊). I highly recommend this spot.

Absolutely incredible food! My favorite place to eat in all of Portsmouth! Their menu is super easy to ready, they have tons of super yummy options, and their food is fresh! The gundruk soup is soooo yum and the spice levels for everything are super adjustable. Do yourself a favor and try them out!!!

Delicious and unique! - Edit
Incredibly tasty Nepalese food! The vegetable momo were so good that we ate them too fast to take a photograph, haha! I had mushroom tarkari, which had roasted mushrooms, carrots, onions, and zucchini in an amazing, rich tomato curry sauce. All the vegan options were very clearly marked and I can’t wait to go back to try more! The staff was very friendly and relaxed, and our food arrived quickly. Great experience!

Fresh and delicious food! Over 10 clearly marked vegan options on the menu. I had the sweet potato tarkari. I was very impressed with how well the veggies were cooked, not over done at all like most places. I can’t wait to go back and try all the other vegan options.
