I'd give no stars if Happy cow would let me. I tried to hit them up for lunch today but when we arrived there was a notice on the door from the health dept. They've apparently had multiple issues in recent months with roaches and rodents in the food prep areas. Yuck!
This place looks abandoned. The dude at the register where you order can't answer questions but OMG the food was delicious. I asked about dairy and eggs in all the items we got and there were none. Delicious!!
found this little place on happy cow, was super hungry, its in a sorta-abandoned strip mall close to a closed walgrees, i wasnt sure if i was in the right place, in then i walked in, and maaaannnnn! was i in the right place!!!!!! and how!!! all you can eat SOUTH indian buffet for like 9 bucks, (think the buffet is just for lunch, but not sure, also serves dosas ,everything was great, the cook/someones wife/mom came out the kitchen and explaned to me was vegan and what was not, i think everything but three things were vegan (and some sauces w/yogurt), the rest was veggie (i dont think they even serve meat) just great , kept bringing hot food out.everyone was super nice, even tho i easly ate more food than the next four ppl in line ( i was the only non indian there) im also fairly sure i drank most of the water in there water cooler, kinda weird location, kinda wierd inside, looks like it was not always a resturant, but the food, man the food!!!!! and the price was great! cant beat it
Four us drove out from downtown Tampa.
The owner, Ramaprasad, took specialcare of us. My mother-in-law had never eaten Indian food before. He helped her choose her food, adn nothing was too much trouble.
The menu is a simple Dosa menu. While not everything ws availabe on the night, the foods i inexpensive, tasty and fresh.
Definitely worth the drive.
