Very knowledgeable

I actually stopped in hoping for a good cup of coffee. And the Americano is very good. But my animal sanctuary shirt sparked a conversation. The woman there said almost everyone there is either vegan or vegetarian. So she went over the menu thoroughly. So I think anyone can feel very comfortable there ordering veg. My only suggestion is they offer a gluten free, vegan bread; I'd suggest Little Northern Bakehouse bread. The vibe is very comfortable and relaxed.

Pros: Knowledgeable staff, Great vibe

Cons: Vegan selection could be bigger

Very friendly staff

When me and my girlfriend went here for breakfast they were out of their vegan bread, so we weren’t able to get the toast we wanted. To make up for it, they modified their sampler to be vegan, and threw in a free vegan banana bread for our trouble. Definitely going back to try the toast!

Update: tried the avocado hummus and chickpea salad toasts. Both were very good, but we liked the chickpea salad best!

Cons: Limited stock of vegan bread

What a jewel in JC

I love to eat here and support this place. Their coffee is amazing and they always have vegan options on their menu and stock vegan mayo. They have multiple vegan alternatives for milk, several vegan toasts- chickpea salad, avocado hummus, pbj. They use local bakers for vegan pastries. Skip chain coffee shops and support this place. It’s conveniently located downtown right off the interstate!
