Super Yummy Mediterranean Fod - Edit
This is a locally owned and delicious Turkish food restaurant. There are vegan options, including fabulous eggplant, tabbouleh, and nice fresh veggies. When you order, specify if you would like your food vegan since yogurt is common in Turkish cuisine and is drizzled on the eggplant, etc. This is a lovely restaurant with good food and a nice atmosphere.

A Gift to be Discovered - Edit
Great venue at edge of downtown in area of renovation, close to ETSU. Good food - love the lentil soup and pita bread, this vegan fully enjoys the Veggie Platter, and they have good quality Baklava and Turkish coffee too. And, the owner and wait staff are so friendly and attentive. It's a sweet spot, and definitely recommend to vegans and vegetarians visiting or moving to the area.

Cons: Something other than pizza best at Turk restaurant, smallish portions if you're looking for large, parking close by can be a challenge

Tasty vegan options here! - Edit
I was visiting the area for a week and sought out restaurants that were vegan friendly. I was delighted to find this small stylish Turkish cafe with a nice outdoor patio. I tried the maze platter so I could taste a variety of appetizers. It was beautiful! It included two things I had never had before. The ezme consisted of lovely chopped tomatoes with fresh herbs. The smoked eggplant was the star, so rich and flavorful! The platter plus some lentil soup made a fine meal. Loved it so much I went back the next night for more smoked eggplant, plus a falafel wrap with green pepper added, kalamata olives on the side, and excellent tabouleh. Finished off with strong Turkish coffee. Highly recommended!!

Cons: Could have even more vegan options
