東風新意蔬食餐廳 at 博愛三路50巷6號 is a modern style vegetarian restaurants that serves Taiwanese and Chinese vegetarian food like stir-frys, fried rice, vegan "beef" noodles, plus dim sum and veggie sushi. Most dishes are vegan - dishes containing egg or dairy are indicated. Gets busy on weekends and holidays so book ahead. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-2:00pm, 5:00pm-8:30pm.

Very good Taiwanese cuisine

If you are interested in more elaborated Taiwanese vegetarian cusine, this is the place to visit! Their mock beef noodle soup is divine, which is also sold at their sister restaurant "SMAN" at TaLee department store. Their menu specifies what dishes contain eggs, not sure whether milk is specified as well. It's always good to check with the server before ordering.

Pros: Nice flavors, Vegan friendly
