Decent for the area

Not bad. Decent little vegan bowl and smoothies, plus non-dairy milk options (soy & almonds when we went) for lattes, cappuccino, etc.

No vegan pancakes.

Pros: Friendly , Informative, Cheap

Nice to find a place offering vegan options in the Azores

The island is not very vegan-friendly, so we considered ourselves lucky to find this place and were grateful they offered nice vegan options on their menu.

As you can see on the pictures, the food was very well presented, although I wouldn't say it was the best lunch of our lives. It did the job nonetheless!

Disappointing

The burger was dry, the sweet potato chips were burned, and the milkshake was not tasty at all, and bitter. I added 2 sugars and it didn't really helped.
My husband is not vegan, and also didn't like his dish.

Pros: Vegan mayonnaise

Cons: Burger, Chips, Milkshake

Good burger

We had lunch here and the experience was good. The vegan burger was tasty, the sweet potato chips somewhat too salty. The vegan milkshake was nice as well. Service was a bit slow.

Extraordinary

My wife and I found this little gem on a rainy day. The food was delicious, particularly the Quinoa and Sweet Potato Chili. The beer offered was a local brew which my wife enjoyed very much. Highly recommend.

Pros: Friendly staff, Delicious food, Cozy atmosphere

Lunch

Good service. Many choices on the menu. Chili bowl and curry bowl were tasty. No vegan dessert available. 40 minute wait for the vegan board so we dropped that part of the order.

Pros: Tasty , Good location , Friendly service

Cons: No dessert, Long wait for the food

Has vegan options (when your lucky)

Small Cafe in Ponta Delgada's inner city. Went there to get some food. The Menue offers about 6-7 vegan dishes. Sounds good, in case they still have them. We had to change our order three times because the dishes weren't available. In the end we had a Falafel-Wrap with Salad / Fries, which tasted quite good. The vegan milkshake was also good, the coffee too.

Pros: Vegane Optionen

Cons: Serves meat, Dishes roulettte

Maybe a 2.5

Came here twice. I left after waiting for half an hour with nobody taking the order although there were only 3 occupied tables.

The second time I came I ordered the vegan platter, which is mediocre at best and way too expensive for what is served. Service was slow and waitresses did not seem like they wanted to be there. One positive thing is that vegan options are very clearly marked on the menu.

The location is great as it is smack in the center of the city but this cafe could improve on many fronts. I would not come back here unless I absolutely had to.

No vegan options

I stopped by because I wanted a sweet break and asked for their vegan desserts, but they do not have any vegan desserts even if it’s on their menu. Absolutely not recommended

Pros: Outside seating area, Nice place

Cons: No vegan desserts , Not vegan friendly

Perfect for vegan food

It's so difficult to find vegan food in the Azores. This restaurant is your lifesaver! I had a Q
quinoa-chili and a fresh orangejuice, which both was delicious. The price for both (10,50 €) was absolutely ok. Big recommendation!

Disappointed when not expecting much

We came for a simple breakfast. Service was slow and not communicating. Coffee and soda took 30 minutes. They were out of hummus so I had to switch to a vegan black bean burger (as stated in the menu). However, the burger did not have a single bean in it, the avocado was missing and so was the dressing. The sweet potato chips were soft and felt old. Overall not enjoyable and dry.

Pros: Open early, Offers soy milk

Cons: Slow service, Changes to meal not communicated, Food not enjoyable

Good place for lunch

I ordered the vegan bun which is served on a seed bun and no longer on the Bolo Lêvedo which is optional.

Pros: Good pricing, Several vegan options

Cons: Service was slow, so avoid if you are in a rush, My burger was served without dressing

Be carefull bc the burger is not vegan as the bolo levedo contains eggs, butter and milk.
Juices are good, staff is nice. Good vegetarian option in the city.

Not great, not sure it really was vegan

Our lunch there started in a strange way. Even though, they have a huge vegan menu written on the wall, we were told that it was not available but everything on the paper menu (much less options!) was available.

We both choosed the vegan burger. It's made with a "bolo levedo" (similar to an english muffin) as the bread, a patty of black bean, avocado, tomato and lettuce. The side was either sweet potatoes chips or salad (lettuce and tomatoes).
Let's start with the side : the salad came without any dressing and tomatoes tasted like nothing. For the chips, they were SO greasy and again tasted bland.
The burger also tasted very bland (how is that possible!). The patty looked more like a pancake, it was chewy. The avocado had some black spots... It had no sauce because you're supposed to choose one that come on the side. My partner choosed the tomato and basil sauce, it tasted a bit fermented, not sure it was meant to taste like that...

When we ordered, I didn't noticed the burger came in a "bolo levedo". When it arrived, I became suspicious of the burger not being vegan because of the bread. In supermarkets, all "bolos levedos" I've seen contain eggs, milk and butter. So I asked the waitress about it, she asked in the kitchen and the only answer was "we don't know"...

We were the only clients during almost all our meal and we understood why : the food is terrible!

Great food, many options for vegetarian and vegan

Really great place, many options for vegetarian and vegan.
Simply food but delicious, feel healthy and "homey".
We enjoyed a salad and vegetarian burgers with a special bread with cheese.
The staff is very welcoming and nice:)
Prices are reasonable

Pros: many options for vegetarian, Vegen options , Nice staff

Cons: The salad wasn't dressed but we got it after
