Unlucky, I guess? - Edit
Gorgeous little place, loved the 50s music and the decor but the food was just so greasy, it made me feel sick! As I say, I might have been unlucky.... ☹️ My husband had potato skins and a chickpea burger and said it was very good. I would return and try something different! Or maybe even just hold out for the sticky toffee pudding option!

Vegan Christmas meal at diamond Lils - Edit
Just had super vegan meal at diamonds. Soup main and pudds all vegan.. book ahead the chef is very flexible . We had beautiful nut mushroom roast with trimmings. Lovely surroundings. Diamond Lils is a wee gem for vegans! Well done to owner Rory for providing vegan options x

A Little Gem! - Edit
What a great find!! As a new vegan, I've been searching for great places to eat out locally with minimum fuss, but where the dishes had had a bit of thought put into them. I just happened to be in Montrose and found Diamond Lil's using the HC app. I took my girls (2 & 8yrs) and we were made to feel really welcome by Nic, our host. The food was fabulous. Loads of vegan (and veggie) options to choose from on the menu, and with vegan specials and desserts! My girls were thrilled to find out there was vegan chocolate ice cream! Can't wait to go back. Highly recommended.
