Some options - Edit
Basic options including pizza, pasta, burrito & Casado. This pizza was a little light on tomato sauce and just had chopped veg sprinkled on it.

Typical local restaurant with enough vegan options. The friendly staff is very willing in veganizing several other dishes on the menu.

They have vegan options clearly indicated, but some of them are the same dishes without some ingredients (for example, "vegan pizza" is the vegetarian one without cheese).
Read moreVegan burrito is the "tortilla bread" with vegetables (until now in Costa Rica i have always eaten the burritos with vegetables, rise, beans or/and avocado); and this one doesn't fill you up for long.
Not expensive. Burrito fries 2 cokes = 14'02 $ (they charged me $15 "to round up", even though they gave me the turns in colones).
