Very accommodating for vegans! - Edit
Couldn’t be more grateful to have stumbled upon Davitts for an early dinner with a group of friends as we were traveling around the ring of Kerry. Just want to say a special thank you for having vegan options (I got the chick pea burger and amazing wedges that are cooked in vegetable oil) and a special thank you to our server Brian who double checked on multiple ingredients / dishes if they were suitable for me as a vegan and even brought me some vegan and gluten free bread. Thanks!!

Decent vegan option available - Edit
I had the vegan burger with wedges. The burger was not my favorite flavor or texture but it was still good enough. I found the wedges very delicious.

Great food and service - Edit
We needed a pit stop on the Ring of Kerry tour with a group including vegans, vegetarians and omnivores. This place was the perfect stop. The vegan options include a salad with plant-based feta, a chickpea burger, a bruschetta starter and a vegan & gluten-free dessert option. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. I really enjoyed my experience here and would recommend it to others looking for vegan options in this small town.

Best dessert! - Edit
We only came here for some drinks and wanted to taste the vegan dessert on the menu, which was chocolate and coconut tart with raspberry sorbet ice cream. This was defenitely the best vegan dessert ever tasted!

Best Veggie & Vegan Food in Town - Edit
Excellent service & choice of veggie & vegan dishes. Not only absolutely delicious but well balanced with proteins, carbs, vitamins & minerals. Thanks very much to Mary & team and her great chef. I was not alloed aw a rd it 5* as this applies only to strictly veggie/vegan bysinesses. Even food trucks that do not have the same overheads as fixed premises and therefore are at an advantage.

Delicious salad - Edit
There are not many vegan options at this restaurant: There is a salad, a burger and bruschetta. However, Kenmare does not have a lot of places offering vegan food altogether, especially for Sunday lunch, which was when we visited. So we opted for Davitt‘s and we were very happy with our choice.
Read moreMy husband had the burger and enjoyed it, although it was not the best he ever had. I chose the salad and it was excellent and very filling, too.
Service was friendly and the restaurant seems to be popular with the locals.

There isn't much vegan choice, 1 starter and 2 mains, but they are all delicious... Particularly the cashew cream bruschetta 😍

Tofu burger - Edit
This was the only place open on a Tuesday offering a vegan option. I was sceptical of a tofu burger but it was actually delicious. Also had the vegan bruschetta to start and was gorgeous. The vegan whipped feta they have is divine. Highly recommended

One (delicious) vegan option - Edit
The clearly marked vegan option on the menu was a treat! A good option when you are in Kenmare.
