Delicious vegan Irish main course

We were struggling a bit to find something in the area so we were glad to find this. Even on a Tuesday evening we were lucky to get the last table. So best to book in advance when you can.

They have quite a limited menu and seem to work with the fixed three course menu of 40€. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable on vegan food. Even bread was served with oil to replace the butter. The main dish on the menu was vegan but for the starter and dessert they veganised the vegetarian option, which meant they replaced cheese with nuts and chocolate with compote. Nice effort but it resulted in mediocre dishes.
The main dish however, with coated tofu and glazed egg plant was very tasty and came with a big tray of potato and baked veggies. It was very filling and tasty.

If possible, we would ring in advance next time and/or check if a separate main course is possible without the other courses

Cons: Limited menu, one vegan option every course, Expensive

Cosy and very friendly

The vegan options on the menu are clearly marked. ([VE] Vegan [VEA] Vegan Alternative) the food and ambiance are very nice and the food was excellent.
