Worth a Visit - Edit
Not a huge selection but what they have is delicious and prepared with care. This is slow food so be prepared to have to wait. More vegan choices would be nice but this is a small place working hard to provide something special to everyone.

A vegan feast! - Edit
The restaurant is located in a back street away from the hustle and bustle of town. There are plenty of clearly marked vegan options and the staff understand what we do and don't eat. The food was beautifully presented (check out my photos), such care was taken to prepare the food. It was quality food, and we even managed to fit in some Churros for dessert!

5 ESTRELAS Delicioso prato típico (casado) vegetariano e vegano - Edit
Estávamos a procura de um prato típico que não fosse apenas arroz com feijões. Depois de muito andar pela avenida principal e nada encontrar, um dia chegamos a este restaurante quase no horário de fechar, e as proprietárias Rosana e Antônia fizeram de tudo para nos atender. Pedimos os pratos tradicionais veganos (casados veganos) e ficamos surpresos com a rapidez no atendimento e a variedade de comida no prato: arroz, feijão, salada variada, legumes, abacate, banana, torta de mandioca, tudo quentinho, fresco e muito bem preparado. Exatamente o procurávamos: uma comida típica, caseira e bem temperada, de tamanho muito bom, com preço justo comparado com os restaurantes da região. Além disso o ambiente é super agradável e familiar. Destacamos que é diferente dos outros restaurantes que a opção vegetariana consiste em somente retirar a carne ou ovo, e nada acrescentam no lugar. Antônia e Rosana possuem opções próprias com comida típica para vegetarianos e veganos. Por fim, para nossa maior surpresa tinha uma sobremesa de churros veganos, de massa super deliciosa e equilibrado no açúcar e canela: o melhor churros que provamos, muito mais gostoso que o churros tradicional, nem tivemos tempo de tirar fotos. Sentimos que fomos acolhidos e desejamos muito sucesso para as proprietárias Rosana e Antônia. Obrigada!

I'd give five out of five just for the lovely two ladies who run this place. They're so friendly and welcoming, showing typical warm, authentic Costa Rican hospitality. Me and my friend were both very impressed with our meals. I was so happy to see plenty of fresh, colourful vegan options. Drinks were tasty too. It's a little gem of a place. 100% recommended.
