Tasty tiny chocolates - Edit
This is a trendy bakery/chocolate shop/cafe with AC. There’s not many vegan options, but the one I tried was good.

Happy surprise - Edit
They had 3 vegan chocolate options when we were there. The raspberry and guava were absolutely amazing. We also got the vegan snickers and were sadly disappointed. It's not snickers-like. Tastes like it has coconut and dates in it. Still a great find and would go back!

Pricey - Edit
The chocolates are delicious, no doubt about that, but the place is quite expensive. Really big selection.

Nice but super expensive - Edit
Helpful staff pointed out vegan options and they were labelled. Note only the dark varieties are vegan! All chocolate is sold based on weight. What we tried was nice especially the snickers but seemed a bit extortionate for what you get our 3 small chocolates came to 3300 colones...
Read moreA few vegan sorbets were available as well as vegan milks for coffee (700 extra seemed a bit of a joke). We didn't try these.

Coffee & chocolate- What's not to like?! - Edit
Amazing selection of vegan chocolates and their flat white with almond milk was really good. The chocolates are labelled vegan but make sure you ask for dark chocolate versions, as the milk & white aren't vegan. Went here twice during my stay in La Fortuna - Would recommend!

Great coffee - Edit
We tried both the coffee and ice cream here. The coffee was excellent, some of the best in our Latinamerica trip. We liked the maracuyá ice cream the best.

Very tasty - Edit
We stopped here on our own personal bakery walking tour of La Fortuna. Great stop with lots of vegan chocolate options to try. It's an air-conditioned chocolate shop, if you like chocolate (who doesn't?) then go.

Vegan Sweets - Edit
We stumbled upon this cute shop while strolling through La Fortuna. They had tons of vegan chocolate bars, and other packaged items all clearly labeled. There's a full coffee shop with options. Also, they have 4 nondairy Gelato options that are fantastic! They aren't labeled so just ask! We had all 4, 2 days in a row... very delicious! Perfect for a warm day in Costa Rica! Plus, we bought tons of chocolate bars. And the prices are amazing!!!

Great service and vegan options! - Edit
They offer a sandwich, soy and almond milk for coffees, several dark chocolates, and 4 vegan sorbet flavours (blackberry, passion fruit, cas, and soursop).
Read moreI had the soursop which had a light fruity taste similar to strawberry. Scoops are cheap and huge! (700 colones for one scoop)

Lots of Vegan Chocolate - Edit
The staff were super friendly and pointed out about 10 vegan chocolate options. The owner came out to talk us through the ingredients and explained the process of producing the goodies. Soy and almond milk available for coffees and smoothies. We paid about $22 for 3 coffees a smoothie and 2 smallish bags of chocolates.

Disappointing - Edit
I went today after having read the great reviews up here. I immediately noticed the prices - 8 or 9$ for a small bag of sweets. I tried one which was ok but nothing special. What I found confusing though is that I was told (asked in Spanish) that only the pure dark chocolate flavour praliné was vegan, and that all others - even if they were made with dark chocolate - had a tiny bit of milk.

Cons: Expensive, Almost no vegan options

🤤🤤yummy!! - Edit
I entered this place and was immediately asked if I needed help. I asked if they had vegan options and the was showed many, many different options ranging from coconut, peanut butter, raspberry, coffee to fig and other candied fruit covered in chocolate (all dark chocolate). I left with a little bag of chocolates :p. Can recommend this place!!

More than 20 vegan options, but all are dark chocolate - Edit
I asked for their vegan options - he showed me so many that I got completely confused. All were made from dark chocolate, but loads of different flavors! We tried the Guave, pineapple and Tamarindo, all were fantastic!

Plenty of Vegan Chocolate - Edit
The shop is located beside an all natural shop which is perfect because they strive to use all organic ingredients. My group stayed at the family's Air BnB located on the cacao farm narurally we booked a tour of the farm. The owner, Esteban, educated us about the entire process as well as delivered a beautiful farm to table experience. When we checked the shop out everything was fairly priced and the lovely lady behind the counter was glad to fix me an assortment box of vegan chocolates.
