So happy this is back - Edit
I’m overjoyed that Cycle Dogs has returned - it’s now back to its roots as a food truck and serving delicious dogs and burgs in the undercover beer garden area of Bickerson’s brewhouse, so you can enjoy some delicious vegan food and beers even when it’s a little chilly outside. The elote dog is always my favorite, but they also have Seattle dogs, trashcan dogs (little bit of everything), among some other options, including burgers and different specials to change things up. Everyone who works here is so nice and I’m so happy to get to continue supporting them.

Indulgent and delicious - Edit
This is now one of the best places to indulge in vegan junk food in Seattle. Partly because many establishments have closed during and since the pandemic, but also because Cycle Dogs has upped their game over time. We love their menu and every now and then indulge on their greasy burgers, dogs, and breakfast food. The loaded fries were the perfect thing to hit the junk food spot.

Exactly what I didn't know I was craving~ - Edit
Although bars just ain't my scene anymore & bar food can be greasy & unsatisfying, I was pleasantly surprised if the meal I had from Cycle Dogs.
Read moreThe CBR wrap was possibly the best vegan chx bacon ranch I've had! Usually, the vegan offerings just don't capture the image I have of what a CBR is. This gives me hope, and makes me want to try what else they have!

Great quality - Edit
Quality was great even though I got delivery. I recommend the pancakes. They were super thick and fluffy, some of the best pancakes I've had in a long time! They come with ample syrup and butter. The Hangry Style Fries were great, too. The only downside is that no utensils or napkins came with the order, which made for a messy but yummy experience.

Pretty pretty good - Edit
In the same location as the now defunct no bones Beach club (rip). Standard American food. Burgers and the like. Looks like they have bingo, DJ, and trivia nights.

Delicious - Edit
Open to 2am on Friday and Saturday. Amazing dogs, fresh fries that taste like they are made from real potatos, and corn dogs. Prices were inexpensive for Seattle.

Best burger in Seattle - Edit
How many times a week is appropriate to eat burgers and fries? Asking for a friend. 😉 I could eat here every day. It’s my favorite vegan junk food in the city by far. My favorites are the Richard’s Deluxe, the Miss California, or the corn dog at happy hour. The hangry fries are a treat too!

Good Food, Disappointing Experience - Edit
Oof, I really wanted to love Cycle Dogs. One peek at their menu and reviews really had me thinking we needed to make a trip out here just to try their food. While the food was okay, the overall experience felt soured by the slow service and confusing ordering system.
Read moreLet's start with their food, which was pretty good but wasn't as smashing as I've seen reviewers rave about on their pages. The Fried Chick'n Sandwich at Brunch ($14) with Chipotle Mayo was a great throwback to those former Nashville Burgers, but it lacked a lot of spread and tomato. The Chick'n N' Waffle ($15) was the same chick'n but on a standard waffle
Their Homerun ($19) with sausage and pancakes had a salty tofu scramble with a funky taste. However, I will say their pancakes were dense and delicious, and was the standout of that dish.
Service was... a bit rough. We came on a Saturday brunch and were placed on a makeshift waitlist as they were very busy. Typical for a weekend brunch, but it didn't seem they were prepared for the rush. After waiting 15 minutes, we were seated by the bartender who thanked us for our patience. No big deal as we expected there'd be a wait.
However, where it went wrong was that we were literally sitting there for almost 15 minutes. Nobody came to serve us, check-in on us, or anything. The 2-3 staff would pass us by while we saw food slowly being delivered to other tables. We were just confused by why nobody was serving us.
Finally, we asked our neighboring table how this worked, and they told us that we were supposed to have ordered at the front and be given a table number. Nobody on staff explained this to us and we thought we were supposed to be waited on, but this was not the case.
When I finally went up to order and explained the situation, the server was apologetic but there really should have been a better system in place, or to explain to guests how to order before leaving them at their tables. We paid it forward by telling the next guests seated next to us the process to order, and they thanked us because they had also been sitting there for five minutes wondering what was going on.
So Cycle Dogs, I hope you're able to improve on your weekend brunch model. You all are great and I want you to be successful, but this past experience was not good and I hope this review helps provide a better scenario for future patrons.
Pros: Fully vegan with great options
Cons: Non-existent and unclear service when busy

Hey, I’m the owner of Cycle Dogs. Sorry I never claimed this page.
Read moreI’m sorry about the experience. We were having a bad day that day. We’re not usually that busy. We received 6 negative reviews for brunch service. You’re on the right track. That was an off day. There was a festival nearby that actually had the opposite effect. We assumed we were going to be slow, but instead we had a record breaking brunch. Our regulars knew that was an off day. But for new comers like you, you assumed we sucked. I hope you will consider coming back. I’m happy to treat you to your next meal on me. I know you will find the experience to be much better.
To answer your question, no don’t believe this review will help us or other. Because you came on an unusual day. From my perspective it does harm as it is not the standard. So, to earn a better review, I hope you’ll come back. Please email us at cycledogs.Seattle@gmail.com for a gift card.

Good portion sizes, unusual day - Edit
We have been to Cycle Dogs before, both at the old food truck location and this one! All of our experiences have been exceptional, except this one. The staff didn’t seem motivated to provide high-quality service. The food came quickly, however, the menu listed outside was not the menu inside. This made our ordering process much more difficult. Would recommend, just a weird day I guess!

Incredible BLT - Edit
Ordered the KFC bowl special, BLT with fries and hunny mustard, and a small Caesar salad. The BLT was incredible - probably the best I’ve ever had. The fries were good and I enjoyed the hunny mustard. The KFC bowl was good, but I prefer Dirty Lettuce’s in PDX. I also enjoyed the Caesar salad which was a very large portion. Overall enjoyed this fully vegan spot!

Veg “Junk Food” - Edit
Cycle Dog is a cute shop with a variety of options. The fare is very typical vegan “junk food.” We tried the Seattle Dog (upgraded to a brat), fries, and the buffalo chicken sandwich. The Seattle dog was tasty, but the buffalo chicken sandwich was delicious. The chicken was crispy, the ranch was good, and the pickles added a great crunch. The fries were good, and I gave them bonus points for being homemade. They offered a variety of drinks as well. Despite the menu saying to ask for dessert, there were none, which was sad!

Top notch brunch - Edit
Pulled up and ordered a breakfast sandwich I forgot the name of. It had sausage, hash browns, and egg on it. It was large and delicious. Would definitely like to come back and try a dog. Something worth note, due to COVID, you must order online. A human will not take your order face to face at the truck.

They’ve gotten better! - Edit
Cycle dogs had a tough time during covid, but recently they changed up the space, added more seating, and edited the menu to focus on their best items. I really enjoyed the hunny butter chicken sandwich, and I like the new vibe! Bonus points because they were playing arrested development rather than sports on the bar TV

The best brunch - Edit
I love cycle dogs! Been going to them since they were chillin’ at Peddler Brewing in their food truck. The dogs are good but honestly the brunch is where it’s at. Their sourdough Jill and French tourist are my favorite brunch dishes. The trash can dog is also dank. Real good hangover food and just a generally tasty meal for a decent price. Love taking my meat eating family here.

This place makes great alternatives to fast food. The staff is very friendly as well. I had bacon ranch fries here once and I dream about them at night but I haven’t seen them on the menu again. Some of the chicken burgers haven’t been my favorite but if you’re craving McDonald’s then cycle dogs will help you out!
