Disappointing

We had the vegan pies. They were dry, came with a handful of chips and some rubbery (defrosted) broccoli. There were quite a few vegan options, but we won’t go back in a hurry.

Not impressed

Train staff to know what is in your food, also attitude to customers.

Sunday roast

This pub seemed to have quite a few vegan options, including fish and chips, 2 burger options, lentil cottage pie and the mushroom and ale pie. They didn't have an official Sunday vegan roast (veggie one only) however having the pie with the crispy new potatoes, veg and gravy was just the type of roast I needed. Really enjoyed it and was happy to be given something hearty.
On a side note, I wanted a glass of vegan red wine (the wine menu had VE next to a few of them) however when my parner went to order it for me they informed him that none of the wine was vegan which I thought was strange.

Pros: Fare few vegan options and veggie. , Reasonably priced. , Big Sunday roast portions.

Cons: Told no vegan wine, the menu said otherwise.
