Lovely country pub with surprising range of vegan options - Edit
I love this pub! Mains of lush Italian vegan pizza, vegan pie, vegan lasagne, vegan lentil burger or vegan bake at present. Starter of vegan platter, vegan mushroom bruschetta and possibly soup. Also, has additional vegetarian options (I'm vegan so less confident on what these are but I know there are quite a few).
Read moreChef and landlady/lord happy to discuss ingredients in the meals, which gives you confidence. I've pre ordered vegan roast a number of times for Sunday lunch, which has been great.
It's a very old building full of character. One can sit barside, in a conservatory area or if warm enough outside. Playground, basketball hoop, mini trim trail and fields at back of the pub, which is super for kids or if you want to go for a walk before or after food.
They have live music and events too, 13 May 23 they have a covers duo on, they have an annual summer festival and a 20s party.
Decent carpark once you've spotted how to get into it (opposite end to the church).

Pros: Excellent country pub: vegan, veggie & GF options, Lovely atmosphere, brill landlady and landlord, Italian vegan pizza, often made by Italian chefs!
