Great dosa

Large menu selection but server was not able to help with suggestions as to which items had chickpea/lentils, & despite knowing we were vegan offered us an item with cheese
We had a lentil soup, idly (3 ) & a spinach dosa. All really good flavours & enough for 2 of us

Cons: Service charge added automatically , Server not knowledgeable on vegan dishes

Relaxed environment, great menu

I had the chilli paneer which was SO spicy, but nevertheless very tasty. The dosa was also so nice! Portion sizes are huge.

Pros: All vegetarian menu, Unique flavours

Delicous Dosas

Very welcoming restaurant, with lots of clearly marked vegan options.

We got the masala dosa and mysore masala dosa, which were so flavoursome and well spiced, with delicious accompanying dips.

Generous portion sizes and good value for money too.

Pros: Delicious Dosas, Choice, Inexpensive

Lots to choose from!

Crispy Dosa has a very big variety of vegan options on the menu, with many flavours of dosa, uttapam and idly. Lots of curries available too!

The tastes are good, but aren’t rich in flavour as I’d expect.

They’ve started doing an all you can eat buffet of food on a Saturday between 9am - 11:30am for just under £10 ✅

The space is intimate so when less busy, can feel a bit intense.

Pros: Lots of options, Good quality, Friendly staff

Cons: Music is a little quiet , Flavours aren’t very strong

Ok, could be better

We had an ok meal here but I probably wouldn't return soon. The food itself was pretty good. We had the potato filled dosa and the chickpea curry which were both tasty and filling. Reasonably priced too. Service however was not great, the waitress hovered around the table which made me nervous - a lot of the items we asked for weren't available and they had no wine at all despite having a full selection listed on the menu. Also, the music was too loud and lively to be listening to whilst eating.. Another thing I would have liked to see is more consistent labelling on vegan dishes, for example, none of the chats were labelled.

Great new veggie dosa place in Bristol

Opened this week 16/10/23 and think it’s the only dosa restaurant in the centre and the only veggie one within the city limits. Looks like pretty standard South Indian fare to me: dosa, utthapam, idli, vada, etc. (which is a positive for me) and a couple of curries, though not sure those are vegan. Vegan dishes are clearly marked - about half the menu. Beware the size of the mogo starter - doesn’t leave much room for main! Didn’t try a dosa - for next time - but they looked huge. Will definitely be back to tick off the rest of the vegan menu. Oh, and a cute little practice of ringing the bell on exit to express appreciation- I rang it long and loud😄

Pros: Good South Indian food, All veg (not vegan tho), Relaxed ambience

Cons: Many curries not vegan
