Lovely atmosphere and tasty food

The staff is super lovely and the atmosphere is so welcoming: a lovely place for a nice dinner. I had a wrap and a Scotch egg and both were super tasty, and great portions too. You won’t leave hungry. I had a Greek inspired biscuit and chocolate cake but that wasn’t great unfortunately. I’d definitely return for a lunch or dinner though!

Pros: All vegan, Lovely staff, Beautiful venue

Great choice

Our local non-vegan friends made a lunch time booking for our visit to Plymouth. As long standing veggies and now vegans, we were pleased that the menu included straightforward vegetable dishes as well as meat substitutes which don't appeal to us - although we were persuaded to try the "Scotch Eggs" which proved very tasty.

Pros: Comprehensive and innovative menu.

Cons: None.

Could not recommend more!

Amazing food and lovely attentive staff with a chill but professional atmosphere- ordered the jack fruit wrap with chips and a brownie and couldn’t have been happier, although more expensive than i’m used to 100% worth it!

Very nice

Super good. They recently reopened after the covid-19 lockdown in their new location in an old chapel. Lots of outdoor seating and space inside, so it's good for social distanced eating. And the food was really good, like, better than a lot of other vegan places I've tried elsewhere. A definite recommendation.

Pros: The scotch egg is well worth trying

Relaxed, lovely venue, friendly staff

Had the Sunday roast, which felt like it had had some effort put it, staff were lovely and chatty and helpful.

The finest vegan offerings in the city. From pop up to fully fledged restaurant in less than a year. Independent and family run. The scotch eggs are talk of the town.

So good

I’ve had so much joy from Cosmic Kitchen. Their lunches are amazing, the Roast Club is out of this world. They do a Greek Meze night, the atmosphere and the food was incredible, however, I asked them to cater for a work event for mostly omnis, it was a bit of a risk, as people where not expecting vegan catering, but oh my goodness, the feedback was incredible, everyone was absolutely delighted with the food and it was so generously catered we were able to give the Women’s Centre we were in a huge tray of food as well, they were very very happy!

Pros: Healthy , Delicious , Lovely people

Cons: None , Move , None

Great place for a high quality and healthy vegan meal

I enjoyed a delicious vegan lasagne accompanied by plenty from the excellent salad bar. Great food and I applaud the efforts to minimise food waste by not over producing each dish. Nice cakes which are also avilable to takeaway. Friendly staff and the Old Morgue Escape Rooms bar serves a good range of beer too and is a very pleasant and well decorated venue. Very happy I visited during my trip to Plymouth.

Pros: All vegan, Unusual venue!, Low food waste

Friendly and delicious

We came here on a Sunday for the first time and were really impressed with everything about it. The staff are super friendly, the place has a good vibe and then the food.... So good. We had the scotch egg, Sosauge roll, Jack fruit wrap and chilli nachos. I can't fault it! Really tasty and served swiftly, probably up there as my first choice for vegan food in Plymouth after this one visit. We saw the roasts coming out and will be back to try them soon. Keep up the good work!

Pros: Vegan menu, Friendly service , Great atmosphere

Cons: None!

Best vegan food in Plymouth. Only Sundays and Mondays.

The salad bar is excellent, with Waldorf salad, chickpea salad, kale salad, couscous, green salad with squash and beet, pasta salad, soda bread, black olives and tapenade, beet hummus, potato salad, pita chips, crispy carrot topping. There are also big gyros, curry wraps, falafel wraps, hot special of the day (today’s sounds great, sad that none left for tomorrow - leek-mushroom risotto with roasted butternut squash, £10) and a specialty, vegan scotch egg! - really good coating, with tofu and squash centre, served with a bit of mayo. I took away for later a sosage roll (really good) and an almond & rose peanut-butter cup (scrumptious). The next day I had the regular size of spicy chili nachos (generous amount of mince, good cheeze sauce), ice cream sundae (ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream with a fresh cherry, fudgy cookie bits, blueberries and passionfruit) and rhubarb cake to take away. Pleasant background music, not too loud. Efficient, fast service. I would certainly be a regular if I lived here.

Pros: all vegan, freshly prepared food

Cons: open only Sundays and Mondays

Out of this World

Is it one of the best places to eat in Plymouth? Probably. Will I be going there every Sunday to get food? Most definitely!

If your a vegan and live anywhere In the southwest you owe it to yourself to try cosmic cafe out, and if you’re not from the southwest then you better jump on a train and get down here because you are missing out on some amazing food!

Pros: Vegan, Nice atmosphere , Scotch Egg

What an amazing experience I had!!

I was on a job in Plymouth from London and living in London we get spoilt with vegan choices but Cosmic Kitchen fulfil my expectations in 100%! AmaZing venue with quirky interior design and the food is spectacular, not even to mention customer service which was amazing. I’ll definitely be back there.
