Fantastic food - Edit
Really unique space, great staff and the food smashed it. Had the seitan kebab, Reuben toastie, both with garlicky fries. Every mouthful was amazing. If your vegan, go and eat there, if you are not vegan, go and eat there! Both of us were stuffed and they let Stan the whippet in as well!

Great food at the Cosmic Kitchen - Edit
Discovered this excellent vegan place in a atmospheric old chapel whilst staying on the Barbican. A refreshing change from the fish 'n' chips focus and drunken party scene along the waterfront. A limited menu, but who cares when it is so delicious!?
Read morePros: Excellent quality food, Friendly staff in a quirky building, One of only a few vegan eateries in Plymouth

Sunday roast - Edit
I ordered four roasts. Everything was tasty except for the potatoes were hard to chaw but apart from that, the roast was good.
Read moreThe deserts were also a decent size and had a good selection.
However, I wouldn't go back.

Good, but not the best - Edit
I’m a visitor to Plymouth and think I had my expectations set too high for this place given that it’s supposed to be the #1 vegan restaurant in the U.K. I think it’s very admirable that everything is sourced locally and the building itself is very pretty, well decorated and has a great vibe. The music is good and it looks like they hold live music once a week too.
Read moreAs everything is sourced locally, the menu itself is quite small. I got a wrap and there was too much slaw in it for my personal preference. The food was nice but certainly not the best and the service wasn’t that good for me. I’d booked weeks in advance and when I got there it took ages for them to get a menu to me and for them to take my order but once they did they were very polite.
Pros: Nice building, Locally sourced, Good vibe
Cons: Slow service, Limited menu

Great high-end cafe-style food - Edit
I’ve visited twice in the last week. I’ve been wanting to visit for some time and really wasn’t disappointed. It lives up to the great reviews and it’s so good to be in a restaurant where I can order anything off the menu and it’s all good and super-tasty.
Read moreWould heartedly recommend it to anyone who loves good, tasty, high quality food. You don’t need to be vegan or a plant-based eater - it is just good food that happens to be plant-based - win-win in my book. ❤️
Pros: Entire menu is plant-based / vegan, Great venue
Cons: None

Nice little place - Edit
We turned up without a booking on a Wednesday (September) around lunchtime. It was a nice 7 min walk away from Drake Circus Shopping center which was handy!
Read moreThis place had a nice vibe to it. It's been done up really well and the staff are lovely.
We had the Caribbean Curry Wrap
Sweet Caribbean served in a wrap with paprika fries. Decent portion sizes - the wraps are huge and packed to the max with curried soya mayo, leafy greens, salad, tomato & coriander! Totally delicious and not too badly priced.

HOT CHOCO WITH MARSHMALLOW AND CREAM - Edit
Had the Scotch egg, deluxe hot chocolate and the Seitan kebab.
Read moreThe deluxe hot chocolate was the bomb, it's like everything I wanted in my hot chocolate; if only the cream was a metre high with MORE marshmallows. Loved it.
Scotch egg was lovely, the "yolk" bit is a secret recipe, and so it should be, it's good! Not sure about the garlic mayo that it sits on though; it's very fluffy but not 100% on the taste. The side salad was refreshing.
Seitan kebab was tasty and it could have been spicier - would order again!
Pros: yummy food
Cons: menu is not big enough!

Definitely cosmic! - Edit
We had a peanut butter ice cream sundae and a brownie with mint choc chip ice cream. They were rich and so satisfying. Scotch egg was something special, especially with the sauce. Feta cheese on Greek salad was very cheesy and yummy. Didn’t get to try more dishes, but they look great from my peeking!
